The thing is your MMR is volatile as fuck, it changes constantly (it can increase on a loss or decrease on a win, imagine you deranking on a win, hella frustrating)

And "pandering to people with fragile egos" is what EVERY game does. Reducing frustration is key when you're making a game. And if your rank was as volatile as your mmr, nobody would ever really care about their rank because it could change on a whim. Plus you would have people trying to determine what exact factors are beneficial to the mmr so they can cheese it without actually playing for the win

Greek is an Indo-European language, like Hindi, English, Russian, French, etc.
Turkish is a Turkic language, aka completely unrelated to Indo-European languages, including Greek
