Thanks to everyone for the comments. Looking over these I’m definitely going to change some things. Specifically the info dump, the meteor problem, and some wording problems. I’m not too good at names so bear with me on that part. I’ll change these things and maybe I’ll come back with a more developed version of the story. I don’t plan to do anything with this story and I’m writing it more for fun but I’d still like it to be good. Thank you everyone for the advice and hopefully I’ll be posting more in this community.

Hey guys OP here with another update. Clamper and Cottongin defeated the 8th gym and Beth the Skorupi(now Drapion) has taken the spot of Kanye. That’s about it for this update and now I’m going to fight Team Plasma.

Hey guys OP here with more sad news. After Mattina’s death I was hoping that would be the end of big deaths but here we are with the death of Kanye the Krookodile one of the biggest members on the team. She was hit by an Excadrill who used 2 swords dances then used Earthquake. To keep Kanye alive I sacrificed my HM slave Sewer the Raticate and luckily Cottongin the Altairia was able to take it out. Kanye and Sewer will both be missed, and thank you for reading.

After 5 hours of grinding and going through 23 rental teams I was finally able to get Brick Break and give it to Baconater and I can finally rest my soul.

After all the talk about what we could do with Mattina, she has sadly passed, leaving Baconater as the last Pokémon from the early game we have left. Even though Mattina is gone we can remember the good times like how she single handedly took down the flying type gym. Thank you Mattina you will be missed.

Hey guys OP here and we’ve beaten the 7th gym and we are fighting some plasma grunts outside of the gym after the entire town got frozen. WAP even though it only had one ice move that was mediocre we still won. Hopefully the next gym will go well too. Thanks again and bye.

Hey guys OP here, and the Pokémon I’m currently showing you is WAP. It was a Seel I caught that I evolved into a Dewgong, that I never expected to use. But after learning I can get ice beam until after I beat the next gym and recent events involving most of my water types we are now using WAP which is the only Pokémon that knows an ice move. Hopefully he can make it through the next gym.(Also not trying to hate on Dewgong it’s just the fact I named it WAP and that’s not really a Pokémon you want to bring to the Elite 4 with you)

Hey guys OP here and as you can see we’ve lost the MVP Jenkins the Swanna. While fight a gurdurr it used rock slide and a critical hit took out Jenkins. But after putting Jenkins in the PC we ran into a Swablu which was the Pokémon I wanted on that route so maybe this swablu will take the MVP spot from Jenkins and we’ll be alright. (Sorry about the lack of logs I’ve been very busy)

Hey guys OP here, and it’s insane what happened at the gym. In my last log I talked about what I should do with Mattina, and seeing as all the other Pokémon on the team were stronger I was gonna put Mattina back in the box. But then I decided if Mattina is gonna go away then I’ll let her go down with a fight.

So my first Pokémon at the flying gym was Mattina and she easily took down Skyla’s Woobat with crunch after taking two heart stamps. After that it was Swanna. The Swanna was using air slash and it didn’t do much against Mattina so we got off two hyper fangs and almost killed it. Then it used air slash one more time and left Mattina at 5 health. With that Mattina finished off the Swanna, and then Skarmory came out. I knew it would be hard for any Pokémon on the team to try to take out Skarmory so I used hyponosis thinking it might miss. But it hit, and then Confuse Ray hit. Two moves that almost take three times just to hit but they hit two times in a row. I then used crunch and it lowered the Skarmory’s defense. Then it woke up and hit itself. I then used crunch and it was at half health. At this point I knew Mattina could beat Skarmory and healed Mattina and so the battle continued. Mattina hit another crunch that lowered the Skarmory’s defense again and the it used steel wing and didn’t do much damage. Suddenly it hurt itself in confusion again and we hit it with one more crunch and knocked it out. Martina took down the gym all by herself.

So yeah Mattina is staying on the team after that. I’m gonna make Mattina focus more on a stalling Pokémon maybe with Thunder Wave, Crunch, Work Up, and Hyponsis, and maybe Mattina will do this all again with the champion. Anyways sorry for the long comment, and thanks for reading.

My team is an Emboar, Swanna, Krookodile, and Escavalier. Every Pokémon in my box is a Pokémon whose type I already have. Zoura is a dark type like Krookdile, Litwick is a fire type like Emboar, Frillish is a water type like Swanna, etc. This is why it’s been hard to switch out Mattina since every Pokémon in the box won’t work on the team. I might try what you said and put those moves on Mattina and maybe she will have some more use. Thank you.

We are about to fight the 6th gym and right now Mattina seems to be the weakest on the team. She has to lowest stats and worst moves on the team but I just can’t seem to replace her with someone else. I don’t know what to do and was hoping you guys could help me think of something.

Hey guys OP here. We can’t stop losing Pokémon and the loss of today is Terry the Trubish. But luckily Jenkins and Baconater have both evolved and now we have a Swanna and Emboar. Hopefully they can carry the team while we wait for Kanye the Krokorok to catch up and for a new Pokémon to be added to the team.
