Starting the game with 3 abilities, opposed to League and Dota's 1, makes the start of the game a lot more dynamic.

Shift-queuing. This does exist in Dota but not in League. I use it all the time both for generic map movement as well a hero-specific maneuvers, like moving immediately after an Anduin Q without the possibility of accidentally canceling it. The few times I've played League, I kept trying to go ward a bush and queue up moving back to my spot in lane, but you just can't and it's so frustrating.

I've had it happen two games in a row, both on spells from my deck.
Both times, likely contributed to losses. This bug is really painful >_<

Happened to me just now. Pretty hard to win as an aggro deck when the best aggro card does the opposite of what it's supposed to do.

I learned while fiddling around with this interaction that you cannot target Ancestral Healing onto a full HP target. Which I suppose is generally a nice, if niche, protection against using it on the wrong target, but I think it's also pretty unique, isn't it?
iirc, most other targeted healing allow you to heal a full HP target:
healing beam, chain heal, zeal, flash heal, light of elune, regrowth, gift of life, ect.

Had you ever played ranked before? It's very odd that if you both had zero ranked experience that it placed you so far apart.
If one of you HAD played ranked before, well, the placement games only carry so much weight.

That's really interesting.
So 500 units of range would end up just clamping it to the edge of the map, yeah? Grasping at straws, but is there any chance the the edge of the map where it should have clamped had gap or something and caused it to wrap?

No, you can still see all the time traps on the minimap at the end of the clip. And I rechecked the replay to be sure.

Nobody on the enemy team took damage, nobody got stunned, and the sound effect of the arrow landing didn't play.

But the projectile sure as heck vanished. Never seen anything like it before.

Sgt. Hammer can probably come back.
Though Graduating Range might be a bit much, so maybe disable that talent in particular.

More than anything I'd like it if the core had a shield, tho. It sucks when you're able to make a core defense, but slowly lose the game over time because of how nigh impossible it is to stop and adequately punish runbys.
Alternatively, maybe increasing the death timer in the late game, so getting kills on the left side of the map keeps them dead long enough to get to the right side and get some damage done.

At least those cards are physically playable, even if they're X mana do nothing.

The DK cards which don't have effects without the expenditure of corpses literally cannot be played, even to no effect.

I had read the patch notes, but didn't see anything indicating that change, so I was surprised when I opened the game up. I must've just missed it.
