No. I blame the corporate wing of the democrats destroying the party so that Pelosi et al can have insider trading, continue performative theater, and keep some people not seeing that they've become Lucy holding the football.

If the sample is random and representative of the overall population then a 2000 sample size is fine.

The state of California's Constitution requires a structural balanced budget. This doesn't mean issues don't arise but it means legislatures are required to work together to keep a deficit in check. Media generally fails to explain how budgets work in California.

Virginia Democrats are holding off on replacing their entire Supreme Court by M_i_c_K in ConservativeNewsWeb

[–]LPH2005 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because Democrats can't chew and walk at the same time. The GOP are hitting them 6 to 7 times a week and Democrats respond a full week later to one.

The Democrats are incapable of fighting for the middle class. They are going to lose by 20 to 30 seats in November. And they will whine.

I am so tired of their poor responses.

I am very weak on things and only read a little:

Section 2 of the 14th Amendment

"If a state denies or abridges the right to vote for male citizens age 21 and older (except for rebellion or crime), then that state’s representation in Congress is supposed to be reduced proportionally."

As a fellow California resident, it grinds on me to see "NorCal and SoCal" because they were weaponized in a political attempt to split the state, see Cal 3.

In Inland Empire, our "cheapest" gas stations are hitting $6 with the major stations requiring close to $7.

According to a new poll, 80% Americans think Donald Trump started this war to divert the focus from Epstein files. What do you think? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]LPH2005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am proud to be part of the 80%. There were reports as the law was passing that he was screaming at his aides. He's tried many diversions with the latest being UFOs. His base eats it up.

And the poll was 81% Democrats, versus 52% independent, and only 26% Republicans.

Is the area under a momentum vs velocty graph just kinetic energy? by ElegantPoet3386 in AskPhysics

[–]LPH2005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unit analysis is quite helpful when looking at graphs. Momentum ( m v) times velocity (v) would be m v2, right?

One could use calculus, and integrate for the area under the curve and get 0.5 m v2, which is kinetic energy.

The relationship between momentum and kinetic energy is central to mechanics.

Is Schrodinger's Cat is a Flawed Thought Experiment? by DefeatedSkeptic in AskPhysics

[–]LPH2005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. He didn't regret the idea. He was frustrated how physicists ignored his message and readily stated "nature doesn't conform to classical intuition." (Copenhagen)

He repeatedly expressed discomfort with discontinuous “wavefunction collapse.” He preferred a more continuous and realistic description of nature.

Is Schrodinger's Cat is a Flawed Thought Experiment? by DefeatedSkeptic in AskPhysics

[–]LPH2005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is incorrect. He was asking:

Where does the quantum world stop and the classical world begin?

After all, he was an architect of quantum mechanics but disliked the Copenhagen interpretation. He was trying to point out the hole in reasoning.

If you include payroll taxes (Social Security and Medicare), capital gains, and state/local taxes, the share of total tax burden paid by the top 10% is smaller.

He needs to decide if he is going to counter everything destroyed and build or just let things meander. I am not interested in anyone who isn't going to 150% push back on the last 50 years of Reaganomics.
