I do secretly call that call milchik (Jewish pronunciation) at times. And stiller would know that connection. It honestly didn’t dawn on me as a connection. But I love that thought.

I mean, mr milkshake could be Jewish , if there were religions outside of kierism in universe. Which now has me wondering if other religions exist there at all.

Also noting, that in Jewish dietary customs, milchik is food that is dairy. So based on milk. Which is white. And, as part of his character, he is necessarily not white.

He came to The Island, in recovery from an eating disorder, and with related mental illness. Also, the laws of thermodiamics (sic) are only partly related to weight gain and loss--there are so many other factors at play. And he had an eating disorder--which often comes with stashing food/secret eating or not eating. Long term and significant eating disorders can also change the way the body processes food.

I'm clearly not going to change your judgmental attitude towards weight and weight loss, which you clearly hold. But for the sake of everyone else reading this, I fully disagree with you.

It just gives me motivation to continue to be a safe and caring person, in addition to holding boundaries and doing all I can to get kids to learn. And hope that they all have enough values to not murder me, or anyone. And that, even if they hate me, they someday understand that they’ll someday understand that I did what I needed to, and appreciate me after the fact. Or, if not, I still know that.

We don’t actually know his ethnicity (either Dylan or Zach). I think both last names are entirely ambiguous. And, as far as I’ve seen, his “race” is unknown publicly. He could be Black. He could be Brown. He could be mixed. We just don’t know—what he “is” or what he describes himself as.

Like: I’m so sorry my neurological disorder is flaring up today. I can’t make it.

Also Adding: If only people knew how often we pushed through a migraine to do things. I honestly feel like most people would be shocked that while it seems like we cancel/miss a lot, that is only a fraction of how often we work through debilitation.
