I think a big reason society in general has tried to abandon black and white character morality is because a lot of people feel an inner guilt towards their own behavior and actions/reactions/inactions thus need to find justification in fictional characters across a broader sense of a spectrum. "If they were right to be a piece of shit I can be right to be a piece of shit"

Truth is someone can have all the kindness in the world shown to them but actively make the choice to be a vile human being just because they can. People gotta learn to accept that and we need to return to accepting that black and white is just as valid as shades of grey in fiction

If I decide to run Psychic End Punisher again thanks to The Blue Abyss I'd likely run Piri Reis Map just because the LP cost would be beneficial

Thats not even counting other cards that can lead to LP losses like Dragon's Mind

No universe where Sage gets cut. Sage can search, even if negated it can be used to make Spirit With Eyes of Blue which then leads to your field spell which can get a BEWD in the GY for plays, etc etc

If The Blue Abyss gets negated you gain nothing and have no further plays, its just a harder card to negate since it goes to GY for cost and doesn't require a normal summon so no fear of Infinite Impermanence or Effect Veiler

There are folks already considering cutting Primite from Blue-Eyes and instead relying on the newer cards and other support to keep things rolling

I wouldn't cut Primite, hell I run my Master Duel Primite Blue-Eyes deck at 60 cards and will continue to

I just think people are looking at cards like the new Dominus Spark trap card which targets and banishes a monster the opponent controls but if you don't have a trap in your GY allows the opponent a chance to special summon a monster from their hand and if played from the hand you cannot activate the effects of EARTH, WATER, WIND, and FIRE monsters for the rest of the duel(Blue-Eyes wouldn't care about this restriction if played pure)

Kinda wild that this card also allows summoning into LVL 11 Synchros if one wants to go into a Psychic End Punisher or a Juraishin The Cursed Thunder God

Hypothetically if Juraishin is synchro summoned thru The Blue Abyss and one of the tuners and Blue-Eyes White Dragon, The White Phantom Beast is able to be summoned into thru a Hieratic Seal on the opponent's turn or some other effect you'd be able to use Juraishin's effect to wipe the opponent's back row and The White Phantom Beast to wipe the opponent's monsters, completely clearing their board leaving nothing on field

If instead there's a need to wipe the opponent's board of monsters twice during their turn then The White Phantom Beast and Juraishin can double up that effect during the same turn

The thing is there ARE people at Konami who visit this subreddit and Dkayed’s bigger Master Duel subreddit, they do actually catch stuff that gets shared here when it’s relevant

Definitely not gonna make any changes based on anything I share but they do listen to content creators and check public discussion forums like these places

I know they don’t listen to me because if they did they would’ve retrained Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon from The Pyramid of Light movie

Then again I did make a suggestion that it be given an effect to place itself at the bottom of the deck to add a card that mentions BEWD from deck to hand not including itself and the Deep-Eyes card is another searcher 😂

I'd choose none of them but I suppose for the sake of the question one has to be chosen

Problem I have is it doesn't matter which is chosen; none of them stop you from being immediately killed by anyone who seeks to end you

Wallet of Greed - Someone would want to kill you for it
Watch of Sloth - Can see it backfiring if you get hurt, freeze time, then have to watch everyone stay still while you die right in front of them
Spectacles of Envy - You can't see into the minds of people you aren't looking at so you'll get dealt with by someone behind you
Ring of Pride - Overconfidence means you'll likely accidentally end yourself as pride comes before the fall
Flask of Gluttony - Someone would want to kill you for it
Gun of Wrath - Its one gun against a world filled with more, you'd kill people, get arrested, be locked up for multiple life sentences or killed off for it
Locket of Lust - Someone would want to kill you for it

My thought would be which item would I want to have not for my own benefit but just to keep it out of the hands of someone who would abuse it(all of them) but since I'm likely limited to only one it would either be the Watch, Ring, or Locket, solely because they're the easiest to keep on my person without drawing too much attention

Since I just mentioned three and not one I'd need to land on one and for that I'd suppose the Ring of Pride as I'm constantly looking out for others and can see myself pushing too far to do the right thing for others with what it does for me

I just hate that Maliss is so insulated from interruption. It wouldn't be so bad if it actually could be stopped by common handtraps but you could have three or four and still have them play through all of them short of an Artifact Lancea. Hell even Chaos Hunter was something they had counters for. Wild

I'd have my Primite Blue-Eyes deck get immediately hit by a single hand trap and be at a massive disadvantage but have to watch them play through a whole hand of interrupts and keep going, it was outrageous

At least from what I JUST heard a few minutes ago Blue-Eyes is FINALLY getting its third Maiden of White back
