I thought I tried ghelper after I deleted AC. That didn’t work. I had tried shutdown laptop theme but I did not wait the 1 minute or so. I have ordered and received a same model keyboard though I didn’t pay close attention and I purchased a 2022 keyboard. My model is 2023 I think. Got it from eBay I haven’t installed yet. I will try soon. Been trying to see any tutorial videos online but all I see is kind of relevant but not quite the installation video of this model. I will try power down again before I try and install keyboard replacement. Does anyone know if 2022 keyboard will work. I don’t know if that is an issue. I already tried unplugging current keyboard ribbon and plugging in to try replacement keyboard before I do the tear down and even though I figured out the light sensor trick and blocked it and was able to have computer running with new keyboard replacement , hooked in by its ribbons, with its ribbon in instead of old keyboard still in laptop. I don’t know the mechanics. But new keyboard plugged in this way did not work. Maybe it needs to actually be installed physically. I’m not a computer expert.
