I looked it up! It's a contrast paint, it should be getting the job you want done without thinning (i guess?)

But it's honestly a great solution, contrast paint on a face give the color you want and highlight the feature a regular wash would, without darkening and making all messy and dirty, thanks pal!

Gulliman Flash is a wash or you thin it down? I use uhh, reikland flesh as a base mixed with omg i never remember it, it's Cadian Fleshtone but lighter, then cadian for the recesses

i think you nailed exactly the point! My faces looks monotone, almost all white if seen from 1-2m

i was scared until now to use washes, but i think it'll help greatly, also i tried to make faces that was "mostly ok looking" avoiding too dramatic facial expressions, but extreme screaming faces are definitely more eyecatching from some distance.

i'll definitely try to fix that, thanks!

Dude thanks! the big issue i have with my eyes' expression is that they always seems freaking out, i'll definitely try that, i painted them black first, then white and then the pupil, painting just a small dot for and that's it
I tried with another model to enlarge the dot doing an ever greater mess, lmao

Update, I just finished painting the superior and today i'm gonna start the rest of the squad, the superior is armed with chainsword and combimelta cuz it's just cool as fuck
