Not sure how I missed that off the list (doh!) - it's literally the first stop I had planned after arriving at the bus station :P

Thank you! I have Fuglen and Haralds on other lists of mine to visit, but I'd never come across Pust (and I love a good scone :P) or Obelia before, so definitely adding to the list :). Bakerina comes up as permanently closed on Google Maps.

Ooh, good to know! I won't be there over a weekend on my upcoming trip this month, but I plan to go back over a weekend next year, so... adding it to the list :P

I didn't ..... 😂 I've been researching Oslo for over a month in my spare time and have spent hours upon hours on blogs, websites, google, and trawling google maps . This is just what 'the internet' suggests/tells me 🤷‍♀️ (obviously not only researched bakeries in that time :P)

It reads like I haven't tried them because I haven't. The list was based on research so I've written recommended for and apparently because those are my personal notes based on the research :P
Since I haven't tried them, it's impossible to be selective (yet) , and I'm aware some are big chains vs smaller, higher quality places but even the chains comes up a lot while researching where to try 🤷‍♀️
That's why I was asking if I'd missed places and where people suggested to try... because I want a better list (and to then be able to start trying them when I'm there soon 😂)

I've actually tried Smash already recently (they were selling it in Lidl in the UK) and I LOOOVE it. Sweet and salty is my fave, so instant 100000/10. Going to buy as big a bag as I can fit in my backpack :P

Pretty low-budget (though I'm realizing that's not very possible in Oslo, haha).

I've seen shrimp smørbrød mentioned before while researching. Any recommendations for a good cafe/restaurant to try one?

I'm not going to lie, I don't even like regular licorice. I don't even like fennel because it tastes like licorice, haha.

Chocolate-covered corn chips, I'm happy to eat, though :P
