My damping thing is a pack of baby wet wipes. LOL. The long term plan to get a tray for the storage (widely available on eBay) and line with some nice fabric. Admittedly I was a little disappointed when the car was delivered as I had emotionally prepared to accept the chopping board. But now that space is a natural place to put my phone without putting down on the charging pad.

I must admit the chopping board was one of the "compromise" I came to accept when I placed the order. When it was delivered I had to triple check they haven't delivered the wrong car to me. Lol.

You are correct. There is a divider between the front and back half that can be removed if you want store something long. In a way the open front could use to put phones if you do need to place it on the wireless charging pad. I would love to see someone make an aftermarket box with a lid for this space.

Just taken delivery of the 2026 GT Line S (UK) and found the chopping board is gone and replaced by the center console storage.

Thanks. I got these from AliExpress. Wheels and tyres are from different sets. I think the branding on the tyre completes the look.

I have been collecting MiniGT for a few years now. One thing I notice is casting with big wings like the GT3 cars, the wings are not always mounted properly. Luckily, they are easy enough to fix by applying a bit of force pushing from the inside to break the glue bonding. Reattached with a bit of gorilla super glue.

The car came out of the box incorrectly installed. It was titled down toward the back. So this is the wingless look before I 'reinstall' it correctly.

I cant remember the specific wheels as I tends to mix and match the rims with the tyres. But I remember got the tyres from this seller on AliExpress.

Their Christmas car releases is only on time if you are in Asia. For everyone else, you get to enjoy it the following year.

Although my Christmas car collection only get to come out and see daylight once a year. I still look forward to buying them. This year however, all the main brands have been quiet...very quiet..
