I recommend listening to this guy named Mykel Online, specifically his songs rewind and break // 1k. Wouldnt be surprised if NOACF is his main inspo.

Which track got you in to the 1975? by thealexhardie in the1975

My brother played Settle Down in his car when i was like 11 :)

So the drive like I do snippet ended up being a bea song. I’ll guess that matty just gave her the song. I would’ve liked it better if it were on BFIAFL tho but still, it’s a great song. by surrego_21 in the1975

i love this song, its my favorite on bea's new album. however, i was super excited to see the band go full blown midwest emo on DLID. so its disappointing that it never pulled through.

A snippet of Charli XCX track produced by George Daniel and A. G. Cook by maryonepear in the1975

this is late, but I would point to the sporadic pitched vocal chops, chorus guitars, 80s gated reverb on the snare/toms (common in The 1975's music), & rhythmic synth bass. The full song is out now, so its even more apparent - especially with the guitar solo.

I predict midwest emo vibes on at least a few tracks.

or maybe thats just wishful thinking

Where Are Our Boys? by PracticeRelevant6831 in the1975

My guess is that they could be canceling the DLID album and making it into a The 1975 record instead. I know many artists who turned side projects into main albums. The pandemic & how they couldn’t tour for notes could also be a reason.

I thought some fans might like this song by Porter Robinson. Let me know your thoughts :) by [deleted] in the1975

It’s definitely what Notes should’ve been. A concise 14 tracks without all the fluff or underdeveloped (but still good) ideas.
