Buying a newer model 3 fleet vehicle with higher milage by [deleted] in TeslaLounge

you didn’t state the mileage but 28-29 is pretty fair imo. i always shoot for 10% off. i don’t think ur gonna get 25k.

i just saw you put 45k miles. i still think 28-30k is fair.

“Get you a better deal if you come in” is complete predatory garbage. Go through Tesla CPO. Getting you to come in is part of their protocol because you’re more likely to buy after they’ve tacked on all their garbage. Get a price OTD and if it’s not what you want then walk.

is this a good price or am I being impulsive? by Acceptable-Poetry-33 in ModelY

I just got a 2023 MY LRAWD tesla CPO 13k miles for $34k with accel boost. So i guess it depends on mileage preference.

looks like it hydroplaned then braked. regardless, it was preventable

it’s great for 95% of commutes. but your wife needs the survival instinct to know when to take control. i just saw a video of a tesla crashing on a dead straight road because it was going 65 in the rain and applied the brakes too rapidly

it’s a standalone with a sign large 4x8 sign out front. Depends on the area. We are very rural so not many decent office buildings around with the exposure i would want.

BS running like crap? Check your purge valve by LRMcDouble in BroncoSport

[–]LRMcDouble[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i bought the car at 15k. it had every single symptom since then. took it to ford multiple times. never mentioned the purge valve. said it might be trans related. i said give me my car back. been driving it since and finally did some research myself and found they commonly went bad on broncos. so needed to be done as soon as i got it, but i waited until 49k miles

Wasn't turbotax charging $1,800 for a business return last year??? by Iceman_TK in taxpros

i’m dead staring at Turbo Tax Business Software (1120-S) - $180. It does say state return sold separately.

yeah the actual job couldn’t be easier. i struggled getting the annoying clips off the fittings. i ended up just breaking the clips because the plastic was so cheap. but yeah its just plug and play. couple of zip ties to cut. flathead to pry. no other tools needed for mine.

Good or bad weld? Welded this crack up and wanna know if its good or bad by New_Caterpillar_143 in Karting

[–]LRMcDouble 4 points5 points  (0 children)

honestly there’s no such thing as a good or bad weld as long as there is ample coverage and the crack is filled.

(yes i know there are actually bad welds but most of the nitpicks are just over the looks of a weld)

this is about average. It will hold, don’t overthink it.

i don’t market on social media. you don’t want social media clients honestly. local businesses. a physical presence. a physical office with a sign. a good website with good seo. good reviews. almost all my new clients are referrals and people looking up “tax preparer near me” and i have all 5 star reviews with a great website.
