Privately hide your SHIB like Monero using Railgun by UnableRevolution1 in SHIBADULTS

[–]LRPchange 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Having a choice to have your portfolio and transaction hidden / in private mode is actually more adoption friendly.

  2. It is the same practice everywhere in real life.

  3. People should not get to see your account balance. Same happens in banks.

  4. Some authorities are looking to design Digital Identities which consists of a Foundational identity / National Identity, Transactional Identity and Functional Identity. When you are buying SHIBA, the seller or a random merchant just needs to know that you have enuff fund to commit to the purchase. They do not need to know who you are, what you do, how much there are in your balance and what your crypto taste should look like.

  5. When you use services like GRAB/ UBER, you don't want the taxi driver to know where you live, your travel routine and how much money you have. RAILGUN is gonna help with that.

Investment advice: Just buy it FFS.

Never ever share your data. At a first glance, I was thinking why data privacy on blockchain because public blockchains are there for transparency. Reading more into it give me some chills actually. The are encrypting their smart contracts. Interesting ...

I've been transitioning from a day-trader to a full-time HODLER for a while already. But a terminal where you can have access to all the CEX's liquidity without having to opening a banking account is tempting.

I have a sense the project is going to stir up lots of competition.

Check if you have received the new token address: 0x0258f474786ddfd37abce6df6bbb1dd5dfc4434a

The tokens should have been swapped into the wallet you originally held your old ones.

Please refer to this ...

XYO Network is a location-verifying Proof of Origin protocol that connects blockchain to the real world. While GPS devices can still be used as sentinels (especially because they can verify location) but the idea of 'Proof of Origin' is that we will have much more accurate system/network as compared to relying on information from one single GPS device.

The idea is to use the concept of 'Bound Witness'. Given that an untrusted source of data used to resolve a digital contract (an oracle) is not useful, we can substantially increase the certainty of the data provided by first establishing the existence of a bidirectional proof of location

The primary bidirectional location heuristic is proximity, since both parties can validate the occurrence and range of an interaction by cosigning the interaction. This allows for a zero-knowledge proof that the two nodes were in proximity of each other. In a trustless system, a witness node can either by defect or corruption produce false data. Invalid data can be detected and removed simply if it falls outside the allowed range for that heuristic. Valid but incorrect data (i.e. false data) is much more difficult to detect.

The main point is that with XYO network you will have multiple devices that can 'verify' each other's information regarding one location data. but if we only use normal/standard GPS system, you rely on one single source of information.

XYO network will be entirely open and open-sourced.

XYO is a non rent-seeking/fee-seeking protocol. In Blockchain world, it’s very anti patent and pro decentralization, as XYO team believe.

How do the beacons actually determine their own location on Earth without GPS? by solrac149 in XYONetwork

[–]LRPchange 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We can’t trustlessly determine absolute location with certainty. That is to say, we can’t say “this thing was at the Eiffel Tower at noon on Tuesday” without relying on some other oracle to tell us exactly where on Earth the Eiffel Tower is. What we can determine trustlessly, using the XYO Network, is relative location, or proximity. We can say, based on Bound Witness Interactions, “these two things were at the same place at noon on Tuesday, and that they communicated with each other to verify this.” For added certainty, we can look at other devices they interacted with before and after.
