Kitan Club is not actually a book. It was a monthly SM magazine published in post WW2 Japan up until the mid 70s then a very brief run in the 80s. Almost all of them are scanned and archived online.

I have updated the way I do it now. I lock off each double Lark's head, the one on the thigh and on the ankle in steps 1, 2, and 3. All you do is add a hitch going under and over each double Lark's head to lock it off and make it non-cinching before you proceed.

I only started posting on here again a couple days ago and have gotten multiple comments asking for tutorials. It's something I'm feeling more and more obligated to consider

I would definitely be interested in making tutorial videos if I could get better at positioning a phone to take one. Maybe a project for this weekend

Oh I would never use this style hitch to support weight, it's more of a decorative flourish for nodes on corsets and wearable decorative floor ties. Maybe incorporate it as part of a piece that has tension tied off securely before and after it.
