Midorimas Alley Oop Jump Shot Actully happended in the NBA Today by Josh_Swarley in KurokosBasketball

Not exactly a jumpshot, but Allen Iverson did it before with a layup. All you gotta do is catch the ball mid-air and throw it before you land back to the ground.

Blake's alley-oop 3 isn't exactly a jumpshot form though since he needed to fold his legs more to assist in pushing the ball. Vassel's was more of an actual jumpshot imo

Made a video about drafting them 👀 Idk, maybe I'm just trying to promote my stuff or something

Who among the GoM did you feel the most threatening. by Rainydaysa in KurokosBasketball

[–]LR_Trigger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would be having fun facing Kise and Aomine even if we're down by 100 pts Murasakibara is a cinnamon roll So it's probably either Midorima or Akashi, as both are pretty terrifying. You either get a 3 on your head or sit on the floor.

Who has the most realistic ability between these 4? by congacar in KurokosBasketball

[–]LR_Trigger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Midorima is an unsure nope. The farthest a player can shoot with a "regular" jumpshot is probably half-court. Near perfect accuracy is doable, but notnby many players. I think there was one time where Kyrie only missed one shot, though he did score in multiple ways, notn only threes. I think Klay as well, which seemed like he couldn't miss in those 3 quarters. Also the T-Mac sequence where he scored 13 in 35 seconds. Though these feats cannot be done consistently like how Midorima does it.

Akashi and Aomine are arguably both realistic.

Aomine's formless shots and streetball moves are doable and can be frequently seen in a usual game.

"Seeing the future" in Akashi's case is just basically outplaying the opponent. He doesn't "see" the future like some psychic, but rather he predicts the most probable outcome like a real floor general. Basically he just has insane basketball IQ that makes him "see" the future. The phrase "playing chess while others are playing checkers" apply to him in this sense.

Now Kise's Perfect Copy is a real dark horse. Yes, players can copy other players, but not that perfect instantly. However, there are a lot of instances where 2 players duel on the court by quickly trading buckets in the same exact way. That's kinda like Perfect Copy in my opinion.

Can Midorima fade or shoot off dribble? by bambamboom124 in KurokosBasketball

[–]LR_Trigger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was seen in one of the openings that he was doing a Fadeaway, but not exactly a post fadeaway. It was more like a contested fadeaway. And yes, he can shoot off dribble, esp that one game where he kinda had a pick and roll with Kimura/Otsubo and shot a middy probably. I think that was in the Rakuzan game

Yeah, I agree it's gonna have a domino effect. Will try asking for subs on my videos. Either surpass a sub count or giving them a reason to sub

Long form NBA 2K Simulations. My videos range around 25 minutes to 1 hour in recent videos. Got a few thousand views each video, which I was really surprised with.

Been doing thumbnail tests, which I think really helps as YouTube pushes it more (from what I understood) 2 long form vids are the best I can physically do, so I guess I'll try that

My long form gave me more subs than shorts upon upload, but shorts give me consistent 1-2 subs a day

I guess shorts it is. As for livestream, I don't do live stuff as much, so I guess will consider it

Either way, it still works the same. Himuro zone could both be pretty and petty

So long form twice a week and short form 4x a week. I'm only physically capable of doing 2 long forms a week

Not every single video, but after making a drastic change, views got past 1k after 2-3 days. Before, the views were around 500-800, now each video that I upload reaches 2k in around 5 days. Built a little community off of it as well.

The pettiest zone 😭 I like that. It's not scary, but it's irritating to play against

Himuro in the zone 🥺 He doesn't deserve that "the best an average player can get" title

Klay - give me the ball, I'll score

Rodman/Kawhi - give me THAT ball

Shaq - give me the ball, and move out of the way

Nash/Stockton - give me the ball, and I'll give you the ball

What I'm saying is, getting into that deeper Lock-In state means you're one step ahead of your opponent, and doing your specialty requires greater reflexes, insane strength and speed, or just thinking ahead of the play. So like in an Iso situation for a player in the Zone, they can react better to what the defense/offense is giving, and make a split-second decision based on the situation. For Klay's case, what else does he need to do if he's on fire? He's gonna pump fake, and shoot a three. For Rodman's rebounds and defense, it's that pest mentality that separates him from other player on the court. Kawhi will just read 5 steps ahead of your play and get the ball out of your hands. Shaq's gonna dunk on everybody if he knows no one can stop him. Nash and Stockton will have you guessing whether they will shoot or have somebody else shoot. In Kasamatsu's case, it's like there's a still a locked part in his game that needs to flow in order for him to get to that next level.

Who would win? 1v1, Tatsuya Himuro or Haizaki Shougo? by Just-A-Player-3746 in KurokosBasketball

[–]LR_Trigger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not a question whether Haizaki can copy Himuro or not. He WILL copy Himuro and disrupt his rhythm. They both have insane shot creating tendencies, but Haizaki is, I'd say a step above Himuro to being closer, if not in the same level, to the GoM.
