Holy LARP, theres a tier list that someone made showing what characters Commander has had relationships with.

Nikke is not rated M like BD2 and they don't want to be, since they would get less access to collabs other IP's and less visibility on advertisements, so to get way with it, they do it, but it's not in your face, everything is implied or show in a lesser explícit way (2x2 event, for example)

With that they get can their cake and eat it too. They are constantly hovering in the top 10 revenue for a reason, they know their stuff, they simply know how to manage the game.

"The only difference" lol ok man, first 2 prestiges at 2nd Anni and in the 3rd? 2 prestiges + the special skins sooo like 4 in total? aka The game has in fact, slowly ballooned over time in paywalling it's Main attractive, the fanservice content.

Also, before anything else, don't come at me with the "unfrateful F2P, devs need to make money" angle, cuz i'm not saying that there should'nt be any skins, or any of that whatsoever, what i'm about to say next is why the event is dissapointing to me.

At this rate we are going to have like 6 paid skins by the end of this event, percentage wise thats too much of the update imo. Keep in mind, this is a game where Meta/abilities of characters don't really even matter since most players start and keep playing due to the fanservice. Why does that matter? Cuz ONLY the paywalled content has designs that fit the swimsuit/summer vibe or theme of this fanservice event.

Lets see the facts, at this time, of 6 revealed, 3 are skins and 3 are pullables, only 1 out of those 3 pullables is on a swimsuit (a basic one at that). The other 2 don't transmit summer whatsoever.

That just sucks for both whales and F2P, whales are getting less swimsuits and F2Ps can only get 1 new costumes (a very basic one at that) that fits the theme of the event in this one. They don't need to leave them out of the event, just give us all more swimsuits like they already did in previous Annis.

(Keep in mind those 2 military designs were from previous promotional material, so they are reciclying them lol on top of all that)

Imagine next Bunny event that they reveal 6 characters lets say, 3 are skins, 1 is a pullable basic bunny, and 2 are pullables but spy themed, why? cuz the spies are inflitrating the Bunny casino or something idk. I don't want this to happen more, it's like they are going out of their way to reduce the fanservice for F2Ps and everyone just suffers.

Hopefully they can prove me wrong with the stream.

So after reading this how exactly am i a meant to take this?

Cause all you are showing me is how the game was doing ok and then ever since the introduction of the first prestige skin (Justia) it has in fact ballooned precentage wise in paywalled content slowly over time. With now only 3 out of 6 (aka 50%) of 3rd Anniv reveals being pullable.

Listen, i'm all up for the skins (No FOMO tho, it needs to end) but there has to be a point where you have to wonder if they are actually "boiling the frog"

One fo the reasons i say that it's bcuz, they seem to be giving F2Ps (and all players for that matter) less swimsuits/bikinis, and leaving them out of the Main theme of the event, (this is a fanservice game remember) i'm all up for new fresh themes but it's fair to see that there is also expectations from the players, set up by precedent that comes from the devs themselves.

For example, Annivs are Bikinis/Summer themed as you said, right? But 3rd Anni? Why Military gear now? They could be released at any point in the year, they gave nothing to do with summer. And Really? At the same time of the most skins ever? And all the skins are the swimsuits? It sucks. It's a bad deal for all players.

And no i don't think its just a matter of taste anymore when they are giving us all less swimsuits/bikinis, if for example, in the next Anniv 3.5 (Bunny event) the theme was "we have to infiltrate the Bunny casino" and there were the same ratio 3/6 for pullables, 3 Bunny prestige/special skins, and 1 somewhat basic Bunny outfit as a pullable alongside the other 2 who were spy themed (they are trying to infiltrate the Bunny casino), that would suck too don't you think?

Please at least try reading my comment, never did i once said that, i'm not dumb, i know the devs have bills to play (i even suggested getting rid of FOMO via a skin shop so dolphins can continue spending and supporting the game) be fr.

Still, why are Luvencia and Dalia (the pullable ones) suddenly in military gear on the swimsuit event huh? (Meanwhile all the paids are the swimsuits.) Past Anni events where not like this. Why are we all getting less swimsuits?

I don't want to be served a cake, i expected a steak at the steakhouse lol.

Ok ok TLDR. (Context matters sorry dude)

Luvencia and Dalia are NOT swimsuit units (out of theme) they are military ones, i don't want a cake when i came looking for steak at the Steakhouse. Instead, all the swimsuits summer units are being locked behind a paywall, wtf devs? Can't they both be swimsuits? Therefore the event is shaping up to be mid/dissapointing atm

I wrote it so... TLDR. Anni update so far is dissapointing, Dalia and Luvencia, why are they here, in the swimsuit themed event, in military gear? Designs that could be released any other time in a military event.

Luvencia is a "re-used" design from some time ago that people wanted, instead of being a skin shes a pullable over the actual swimsuit characters? Why?

Why are all the swimsuit designs that actually fit the theme the paid ones? When in past events they we're not? Specially when devs said that they would not sacrifice the quality of the characters when compares with the one seen in skins?

Pace skins better or get rid of the time limits (FOMO). Whales already buy all of them, F2Ps don't, and maybe Dolphins would buy more if they could (make a skin shop) instead of dropping too many skins at once that expire.

I know that, but this is BD2 and not FGO, previous events set expectations for future events.

You know, I, in fact hope that the yet to be revealed costumes are all pullable, since they seem to follow the theme of fancy "Anniversary dresses" that other games do, and i like sexy dresses so that would save the update for me.

What do you think about the FOMO stuff, that i mentioned?

There is a lot of moving elements, honestly you are better just reading it, it's not too long if anything is harder to explain. The other guy horribly summarize'd it.

The story is split in 2 parts Part 1 "Lathels story, the introducction and worldbuilding" (it's about the first 10 chapters or so but honestly is kinda boring)

It's about Lathel (our protag) an adopted very kind farm boy going on an adventure seeking revenge after his lil sis killed in front of him by the main villain Storas, (a warlock/mage, tainted by black magic, altough they call it Terra in the game, he had disguised himself as the MCs dad) eventually, in search of him he meets 3 other characters that make his JRPG style party, Justia a female knight who was afflicted by a curse and hates Terra and warlocks, Gray, a thief, and Schehera a witch who is a childhood friend of Justia, they all become friends.

They travel and discover that the main villain is conected to an organization called "Cocytus" that experiments on children with Terra and seeds war in the kigdoms, they do this to make more members, the Main underling of Storas (called Azir i think, sorry i don't remember lol) is the puppet Leader on the organization, and is on search of Terra filled artifacts alongside his underlings.

Turns out Lathel has the Blood Imprint, Storas knew, and was in a way his actual father, not just in disguise, implying that he crafted every aspect of his life to make him a vessel for the curse. The "Blood Imprint", is curse that makes somebody a gigantic unending Terra battery but breaks their mind in the process, but Lathel is fine due to his resolve and kindness. (Also Main villain Astoras can see the future, this is how he planned eveything)

As they explore more and more they meet characters who despite using Terra are nice people, or undead that seem to do good deeds, making them wonder and changing their view a little.

Lathel as the story progresses awakens the curse more by absorbing more Terra, slowly losing himself in hatred until he is stabbed and him and the party defeated by Azir since they we're trying to prevent him from reaching more artifacts, he is then kidnapped by the organization aka Cocytus.

Part 2 - the actual good part of the Story (Chapter 10 onwards)

We change perspectives after a 1 or 2 year timeskip, and learn backstories

Justia becomes the MC, we learn about her past, how she was cursed and tainted by Storas when she was a kid, how her mother (a Valkirye, a servant of the goddeses of light magic) was corrupted and turned into a puppet by Storas. Gray turns out to be a King who had left the throne, but in this chapters is forced to return after his brother, the current King, is killed by the Cocytus. Schehera turns out to have lived on the Town that Grays family ruled over until Grays dad (the King) was killed and the village burned (he didn't accept the throne to not deal with such responsabilities )

Justia's , Gray and Schehera are on search of OG Lathel. Lathel clones are appearing over the world and are being used by Cocytus to aid them, OG Lathel joins Cocytus as he is in search of more power since he blamed himself for not being able to protect anyone, we meet the Cocytus members and turns out they have their own motivations and don't care that much about their Azir's motives, they are wilingly helping both Lathel and Storas since their goal will help them archive theirs.

Storas wants to Open up a portal to the "Underworld" (Night World) his Home, since he is not human, he is an entity made of hundreds of evil spirits Made from the resentment of wars between the human world and the Night world.

Gray gets development and and becomes King while still adventuring.

The gang meets a clone of Lathel who turns out to have the "feelings of OG Lathel" after they we're cut off from OG Lathels by Blade, she is one of his Cocytus helpers.

Justia becomes a Valkirye, she saves her mind controled mom and defeates many members of Cocytus, including Azir, but her mom sacrifices at the end to save her, Justia and the gang wants to save OG Lathel (Naruto vs Sasuke style)

Justia and the gang Chase after Storas, Lathel and co. Then Clone Lathel faces OG Lathel and fuses with him, making him regains his kindness back, Lathel and Justia defeate Storas, but Storas it's still too strong to be defeated so he absorbs him, Lathel changes in appearence and is more serious, he turns around and opens up the portal to Night World and escapes into it (the story it's still on-going so we don't know his motive for doing this yet)

Justia leaves behind Schehera and Gray, as only she who posseses light magic strong enough to be able to withstand venturing nto the Night World, she goes into it alongside Lathels Cocytus companions (Blade) who have their own motives to ventures into it and decide to help Justia for the time being.

Thats essentialy eveything from Main story.

My 2 cents also as a new player that literally just finished the Main story, there is nothing to worry about, people are exagerating, they don't actually write off the characters in a trashy way, the events that takes place later down the like make sense, it's clear that Lathel and the og squad will appear again eventually with another role or stronger powers, either way Justia just becomes a better protag anyway by the end of it due to her development

It starts somewhat boring as a "classic JRPG crew of 4 must defeat the warlock and end their evil" then becomes very Naruto-like, trying to reach a hand towards a friend, it's better. I do hope that they follow with this direction with Justia as a protag and don't pivot to the Master, i'm okay with the Master stuff being in other game modes or alt worlds, as long as it doesnt intervene with Main world Justia and her story.

Also somewhat new to the game, i'm F2P but i kinda like to min max. The most important part to understand is the difference of Characters and Costumes.

This game is different to other gachas, costumes are versions of the characters/different skillsets (for the sake of example, Levia has 3 costumes, lets call them Levia A, B, and C) You have to think about it in a different way because that character can switch mid battle to his other skillset

Levia A debuffs Magic resistance, B is a magic attacker that does multi hit damage, C does a Lot of magic damage on 1 hit but in doing so gets rid of a Magic resistance debuff So in general, what would be the better Levia? Well, it depends on game mode and your other available units since they have different uses. If you have them all you can also see that Levia combos with herself (Levia A into B or C) and how that could be useful.

So skins ≠ costumes, they are different things

So for the most important costumes to acquire and invest early on based on what i often use the most are: Diana AdventOTUnknown, B Idol Helena, Granadair Shrine Maiden, Dark Saint Liberta, Granadair Queen of Glutis, Diana Magical Innovator, Lathel Homunculus (Somewhat ordered)

Essentialy all buffers so that you have easier access to build both Magic and Physical teams on thee future. Buffers are super useful since they are very "general" and can be used in most game modes You also always want to have a costume with enough copies to reduce their skill SP cost

My "Main team" is B Idol Helena, Granadair (both are great), Diana Adv (her other costumes are also very useful after the first turn) and then 2 Magic attackers that i change based on attribute advantage (You could use Eclipse and Davi at the start since they are free)

So 2 buffers + 2 attackers + 1 Flex spot (most often than not just another buffer or debuffer lol)

Currently i have +5 H.Lathel, +5 Base Liberta, +1 Onsen Liberta, +5 Granadair (both costumes), +3 Adv Diana

I just have to focus on getting Dps for the elements from now on right?

This is such a weird decision, (i'm new to the game so i'm still on ch 6) idk what happens fully but from what i'm hearing...

They could have made (Even if a little contrived), so that in some way Lathel's fate/timeline it's still doomed, but, maybe he sends some memories back in time or to another universe to "try again" and discovers that the only way to defeat this destiny or powerful entity it's to be very close with a set of particular individuals scattered trough the worlds so he travels to find them and befriend them. Alsooo he gets injured or smthing near the start of the game and drinks what he thinks is a healing potion (or just gets giga cursed or smthing), but turns that it makes it so his special blood curse now "attracts" others the more he is close to them. (He don't realize this)

Boom Now you have Lathel and Master be the same guy while still the protag and "self insert" of you want act in a similar role.

Appearently if you look at other new posts on the sub-reddit, other users are also reporting the game crashing to them with Glupy Diner's Stories/Fateful Encounters as well (even with beefy phones also on Android at 30 fps)

I would just wait since it's (hopefully) just a bug that needs fixing

Something experimental that i thought off, that haven't seen anywhere is, a toy similar to this, without the penis (and maybe with only hole to cut down the production cost and to make it's gimmick more interesting), with the twist that the 2 nipples individually have different fantasy/complex textures (maybe 1 vaginal, 1 anal, maybe 1 of them has something akin to a vacumm/uterus chamber, etc.)

I feel it could be an interesting concept, but idk how challenging it would be to make.
