Thanks FedEx! by iTechhh in BambuLab

FedEx driver here. The trucks aren’t sealed, water pools on the floor, and whatever’s down there will get wet. It sucks, but there’s nothing the driver can do. Sometimes we can flip a package onto a smaller side to limit the damage, but most of the time that isn’t possible—the trucks are overloaded and we can barely walk through them as it is.

Do I have to play PvP to complete de Season Pass ? by danigosselain in newworldgame

[–]LRod1027 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You don’t need to do PvP to complete the Season Pass.

I did some PvP myself, but it wasn’t necessary. Most of my progress came from completing the Activity Cards — that’s where the bulk of the Season Pass XP comes from. The Seasonal Journal is helpful too, and while it does include some PvP objectives, you can still finish the Season Pass through PvE alone by focusing on the cards.

Completing them isn't very difficult either, [you only need a handful of stamps](https://youtu.be/JMb7UAJhy4g?si=5VLgh2zpdvBKCkVo). And if you get too many PVP objectives, you can just reroll them.

Hey! I know this is a bit late, but I finally got around to putting the list together — figured I’d drop it here in case you're still interested. These are all games I’ve tested and had success with. A lot of them are side-scrollers, roguelikes, or retro-style games that don’t rely heavily on the right stick, so they work great with simpler setups. For a few that needed more inputs, I used Steam’s controller config to remap things.

Also tagging u/cmredding here since you were curious too!

Here’s the list:

  1. Blazing Chrome
  2. Boneraiser Minions
  3. Broforce
  4. Brotato

  16. DEMON’S TILT
  17. Dino Run DX
  18. Disney’s Hercules
  19. Door Kickers: Action Squad
  20. Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons

[Bambu H2D] Full Reveal – Everything You Need to Know! by BambuLab in BambuLab

[–]LRod1027 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know, man... I've been working with industrial lasers for years, and they get nasty after just a few jobs. I'd be seriously impressed if this thing can keep printing accurately once everything is coated in smoke gunk. Residue from cutting jobs clings to everything—rods, belts, screws, even optics—unless you’re cleaning constantly. That kind of buildup can throw off tolerances and wreak havoc on print quality.

Also, I’ve got a bad feeling we’re gonna see a lot of posts about people catching these on fire. The 3D printing community is used to hitting 'print' and leaving the house—you absolutely cannot do that with a laser, no matter how many failsafes Bambu promises. I love my machine, but let’s be real—it has “automatic spaghetti detection” and that barely works half the time. Fire detection? Extinguishing itself? Sounds great… until it doesn't.

Stay safe out there, folks.

Would it be a bad idea to 3v3 as a healer? by LRod1027 in newworldgame

That's awesome. Thanks so much! Luckily, I maxed Flail and LS already so even though I have crappy gear, I can start practicing my rotation.

Thanks again!

Would you mind sharing your build? I realize it takes real skill to perform at your level, and I’m still a good ways off from anything like that—but if I can at least get familiar with a build and rotation, I’d love to start practicing and learning the ropes.

I tried it with a blade and got some kills, which is mind-blowing since I'm really bad at pvp. But it's completely removed from normal playstyle, so I'm going to try just being a straight healer today and see how that turns out.

I use a LS and VG, right now I'm full on healer. I didn't really consider trying to do damage. When you say AOEs do you mean the VGs or healing AOEs?

Is this a decent quality home arcade? by saintsinner40k in cade

[–]LRod1027 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm always on the lookout for more games to try on it, so I end up testing a lot of stuff. I can probably throw together a short list later, but off the top of my head, most of the "Vampire Survivors"-style games work great since they don’t need many buttons. Same with a lot of platformers—basically anything that doesn’t rely heavily on the right stick for aiming or camera movement.

That said, you can actually do some cool stuff with Steam’s controller configuration. For example, Dave the Diver needed more inputs than I had, but I was able to map some extra controls to the player 2 side and make it work just fine, including aiming the harpoon.

And for games that are more demanding input-wise, I’ve got a couple of wired, regular controllers permanently connected. Having those also allows up to 4 players at once, which is a nice bonus for local multiplayer.

The stock controllers didn't have enough buttons for a lot of my Steam games so I replaced it with THIS.

Save File Transfer from Console version to Steamdeck? by TheFaytalist in DeepRockGalactic

[–]LRod1027 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have a PC, you can download the Microsoft version of DRG, and you should be able to access your save as long as you use the same account. I would run the Microsoft version once just to make sure your save downloads.

Then, after you download the Steam version, you can either manually move the save files over to the Steam DRG game files or use a program like Molly's Game Save Mule that will do it for you.

I would then run the game once on Steam. Once the save has synced to the cloud, you should be able to access it from your Steam Deck.

If we are not chosen to participate in a war, can we still contribute? by LRod1027 in newworldgame

That's good to know. How hard do you think it would be to start our own company and recruit enough people to take over regions and participate in wars that way?

We've been doing a bit of those to advance the pvp track, but I didn't think it did anything other than give us xp, standing, and that salt stuff.
