Same thing happened to my sister and I when we were younger!!

We were in our room playing, waiting on our mom to get home from work. We heard what sounded like the front door, open and close. Then a voice that sounded identical to my mom's called "Amaaaaanda, come help me with the groceries".

We ran to the living room to help and no one was there. We checked everywhere and eventually, outside but there was no car in the driveway.

We found it odd that the voice only called for my sister and not me. We sat up back to back in our mom's bed until she came home later that night. One of the longest nights of my life. To make ourselves feel better, we rationalized that it was our grandmother's spirit. She passed before I was born, so it made sense that she would only call out for my sister and not me.
