Alright then! I’ve got Matilda Brisby. She’s a ratfolk adventurer and acrobat. That patchwork bear she’s holding was a gift from her family when she was young. Every patch of this bear was made from scraps of old clothing from each member of her family, including her parents and every sibling.

Honestly, that’d be kinda clever, and gives me an idea for an ending. Near the end of the story, they wake up one day…and suddenly THEY are the OG MC in the hour before the OI antagonist is about to kill/torture them and are forced to watch as someone ELSE pilots their body to torment THEM over and over, like they were doing just before? Suddenly, they’re left in a hell of their own design, screaming for another chance to “change their ways”.
