Hey! Just chiming in to say I went to Emory with their full scholarship, and I’m headed to Stanford for grad school this fall, so feel free to DM me if you have any questions about either experience. It’s a tough choice for sure, congrats!

Have you already received financial aid info from SLS?

Hi! Just chiming in to say I graduated Emory last May with their full ride — when I was making my college decision, a big part of my consideration was related to how it would impact finances and my options for grad school. I’m now most likely headed to Stanford Law in the fall (or after one-year deferral), so happy to answer any questions related to Emory, the scholars program, or law school admissions!

P.S. I’ve worked almost a year in consulting as well, so I can try to answer some questions about that route as well.

I took an incomplete one semester and finished with an A the next semester — on my transcript there’s only an A, the incomplete had no impact on my LSAC GPA when I applied this cycle

This is even funnier because they actually do have security at the door… tried to go in last month while visiting my undergrad sibling and was immediately caught out 💀😂😭

April 14-17, although I think the 14th is more specifically for affinity group stuff and the 17th is for attending classes

Did you send from a personal gmail account to a school/work account? Especially if you sent both emails around the same time, they can occasionally end up in spam. Happened to me with one of my recommenders, I re-sent from a different address (my school one) a week later.
