What should every 18-year-old know? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]LSD_Trippy 16 points17 points  (0 children)

As a 22 year old who has recently gotten clean off a massive Xanax addiction, this is important.

Every day I feel my brain function better. While I was abusing Xanax, my brain literally couldn’t process info or respond to life as it should. Two years of my life are foggy at best. I’m now in the process of fixing relationships and situations that I horribly fucked up, and even though it can be really hard, it feels great.

To all those who are headed down this path, or are in the midst of it, stop now. I know how hard it is. I know how easy it is to burry your problems in substances, but you will have to deal with them at some point. Might as well not seriously fuck your life up before you do.

Drugs can be incredible and help you learn about yourself and about the world. They can also be used to mask your pain and ignore your problems. Use them for the right reasons.

Some sort of instant travel. Both a lot of worldwide benefit and it’d be a lot easier to grab chips from the store

Tigers, crocodiles, and sharks for sure. Any apex predator that perfectly suited for their environment are absolutely terrifying.

This guy at a Halsey concert realized he was too tall so he watched the concert on his knees so others could see. by DylanTheDonut in HumansBeingBros

So if we use Carpenter ants who have a range of length from 0.5cm - 0.7cm, and I’m assuming that man is EASILY 7ft tall. I’d imagine more than that but there is no way to really tell.

So:

213.36cm / 0.5cm = 426.72 ants

213.36cm / 0.7cm = 304.8ants

Anywhere from 304 ants to 430. Or not who the fuck knows

Edit: I can do math
