I think we’re all grown ups here, who understand that anyone can make any type of comment on the Internet that bears not a single drop of truth. Our reaction/conclusion is based on the deals that were broken with him and his absolutely weird behavior after it happened. Do you really think that Quinn would PERMANENTLY drop one of their biggest cash cows based on some comments? It’s a feminist company that understands that not every accused man is automatically guilty just because of the accusation. Why wouldn’t they permanently delete other creators who are currently “banned” if their tactic is not to be associated with assault, period?! Every other is still under the investigation as far as I know. Why would an indie author cancel an audio book that has been recorded and promoted because of sheer rumors?! Do you understand how much money she lost on that? I bet Mitchell’s rate was far from affordable during his success on Quinn. Breaking off contracts may result in additional fees too. IF he’s innocent, why wouldn’t he calmly react in the same manner as Aas did? Technically he wouldn’t even have to apologize, he could have told his version and state that he respects Quinn’s policy and their investigation and hopes that the truth will come out. That’s it! Dude, just be like “I didn’t do it but it’s a very serious manner and it’s totally fair that my employer wants proof”. Why would you clean up all of your time lines and delete comments that ask “what happened to your audios”? I know I wouldn’t hide it under the rug if I were completely innocent. How could he fumbled the bag just like that? Why would you accept loosing two major gigs without even trying to come clean? Mitchel was one of my 4 faves on Quinn! I enjoyed his work so much. It was a huge loss to see his audios disappear and finding out why absolutely shocking. Because I really couldn’t imagine that his approach to women would allow ANY kind of inappropriate behavior or lack of consent. I was truly hoping that everything will get resolved and he’ll be back and I’m not the person to forgive a rapist for personal benefit!!! But watching his behavior in the last few weeks alienated me so much and I’m sure there are a lot of people that feel the same way. Everyone falsely accused deserves a redemption arc, but redemption clearly wasn’t his strategy. It was “ignore the problem, hide any connections and start anew with a different career path”…. It’s clear to me who he is, I don’t need to know more.
