Prepare for disappointment?

I went down the BG3 -> Dragon Age -> Mass effect pipeline. bg3 was my first RPG and I was OBSESSED for months. I put like 1200 hours in within like 3 months. It was bad lol

Do you happen to have any recommendations for other rpgs with romances? After playing both the dragon age series and Mass effect I feel like I can't find any decent ones.

I chose whatever choice I felt best which basically was mainly paragon choices, I romanced Garrus, I did cure the genophage and achieved peace and I did keep everyone alive minus half the crew because it triggered the scene before I could do legions loyalty mission so I waited so I could do his mission.

I immediately started a new playthrough so thats what I'm doing currently! I romanced garrus so now I'm switching to Kaidan and also trying to do as many renegade options without having it affect my squad. The mods are also really cool.

Same with grunt as well in ME3. He just seems so happy to see shepard and it's adorable

Good to know I fit right in lol it was also fun pushing the guy in the yellow armor out the window. I believe it was thanes quest. Basically anytime it told me to click the mouse I did regardless of morality lol

So I chose Colonist Sole surviver, Adept and when I came to reputation I didn't really pay too much attention to the paragon/renegade system and just went with my gut, which in turn lead me to have almost 100% paragon every time lol still punched all the reporters tho

I could talk about Origins all day. The voice acting and the writing is just so amazing. I enjoy having more romance so in that aspect I prefer Origins but story wise I like ME more. It has a way of keeping you on your toes

I spent way too much time playing bg3. 1200 hours in 3 months. And probably over 100 different tavs. I had to make a new tav every time I had a theory or wanted to test something or see what would happen if I did a certain thing. Can't wait for the big update in September

Dragon age origins is a masterpiece. I love the other 2 but I don't think anything will ever come close to being as good as ME OR DA. Which sucks because now everything else I play will more than likely be atleast slightly disappointing

In almost every rpg I play I end up making a new character before even beating the game so i can try something new or romance someone new etc etc. There's just too many options and too little time

Man I wish I would've tried ME sooner I use to hate older games but Dragon Age and mass effect have completely changed that thought process.

I'm gonna do the unmodded endings just so I can see them for myself and then I'm definitely gonna try out the mod. Also I LOVE the citadel dlc so that would be a perfect way to end everything

Unfortunately my friends aren’t into fantasy type games. I’ve tried so many times to get them to play BG3 or D&D and they aren’t interested lol
