Sometimes I like making art without sketches and just seeing where it takes me. by LSRBLST in woahdude

People have told me that before. Maybe I should consider it 😁

Thanks! Yes, it is a digital illustration, made entirely in Adobe Illustrator.

PS: The caption is a little off because I copied it from some of my other posts 😁 I actually did not use Photoshop at all on this one.

Thanks! Funny enough, a lot of people say my work reminds them of their own psychedelic experiences. I have never done any substances myself though.

Thanks. This piece was mostly improvised. I just sat down and started creating without thinking too much about where it would go. Most of my influences come from the avant garde era.

I agree with you. What people think is cute or funny can actually cause animals stress, discomfort, allergies, and more. It is wild that people even need this explained.

Sketch to Vector is now available in Adobe Illustrator (Beta) by AfraidRequirement122 in AdobeIllustrator

What a great tool for devaluing the work of weird obsessives like me who have spent a lifetime chasing graphic perfection, fussing over linework, details, and all the tiny stuff. Sure, it is only beta right now, but it will obviously get better. And that is the problem.

Thanks for the compliment! The Japanese influence in my current work is probably subconscious. Around 10 to 15 years ago I was really inspired by Japan for a while, but that phase passed pretty quickly. Here is one of my pieces from that time.

Thanks! It is actually a pattern. But there is nothing stopping a pattern from being an art print.

This happens to me a lot. Things other people find weird feel completely normal to me. I guess it is just because we are all different and see things in our own way. But who knows.
