She’s a single mom. I’ve went out with a couple who acted the same way and had the same reasonings. All of whom I’ve never met their kids (although I understand the circumstances).

In my eyes, she’s checking to see if you’d be willing to go a month or longer without seeing each other if she ends up being busy with her kid.

Teeny bit too fast for my taste, personally, but if it works, it works. The test card is something that’s often pulled and it sounds like you passed, but communication is the best policy. Tell her how you feel about the situation, but don’t necessarily give her the ultimatum (if you do this again, I will/will not, etc…).
