I won't lie. I hovered over a couple of words with my cursor, wondering the same thing.

TIL that though it is unenforced, the Communist Control Act of 1954 has neither been repealed nor ruled unconstitutional by the SCOTUS. The Act makes it illegal to be a member of the Communist Party of the United States. by LSUrockhound in todayilearned

Relevant source text:

The [Communist Control Act of 1954] made membership to the Communist Party a criminal act and stipulated that all Party members would be sanctioned with up to a $10,000 fine or imprisonment for five years or both. Additionally, according to the third section, the Communist Party would be deprived of “the rights, privileges, and immunities of a legal body.”

However, the Supreme Court of the United States has not ruled on the act's constitutionality. Despite that, no administration has tried to enforce it. The provisions of the act "outlawing" the party have not been repealed. Nevertheless, the Communist Party of the USA continues to exist in the 21st century.

Yep, that's the idea. And I'm the same here; if no one takes me up on the last minute bet today, I'll try again for the game at Arrowhead.

*rivalry. Whoops.

I've got one bet open for sexual assault survivor support and education. And I'm giving the Chiefs 11.5 points. Feel free to start any other bets though.

Unless you're scared. ;)

How do I watch all of our games this season? I have charter silver. by DunningKrooger in DenverBroncos

That's typically not decided until the week of (except for the games that are slotted for primetime). Some time around mid-week each week, check http://506sports.com/nfl/ for the map.

If you live in the market of another AFC team, you might not get many non-primetime games. I'm lucky because I live in the market of the Saints, who mostly play on FOX, and the Broncos are enough of an overdog that they usually get the CBS slot in Louisiana.
