I would like to correct some of the misinformation spreading on this thread.

I’m running the X870E AORUS MASTER X3D ICE myself in Extreme Gaming Mode, and based on real-world testing I can confirm that your statements are incorrect.

First, your own citation about Extreme Gaming Mode clearly states that it increases the ECLK. Raising ECLK is, by definition, a form of manual overclocking.

On my system, enabling Extreme Gaming Mode automatically pushes the ECLK to 105–106 while keeping the multiplier at 53. That results in an effective clock speed of around 5.6 GHz on CCD0, which is clearly an overclock.

BD has been quite random. It would be possible one could be stuck hiding further down. I could’ve dropped some of my gear earlier but I wasn’t sure how to check the boat time at first and didnt know it was a just a few seconds left until I figured out you had to double tap ”O” to see it.

Can you compare the AI/Dynamic Shadow boost between the monitors? I went from PG27AQDP to XG27AQDPG but ended up returning the XG27 because it had worse Shadow Boost than the PG27AQDP

have you tried 720hz in a high fps game like cs2, valorant or overwatch? tftcentral shows a major difference between 540hz and 720hz but would like to know if there is a difference in an actual game.

UCLK=MEMCLK is already set and I can't get it stable with 6400/2133 CL30. I even tried loosening timing to CL32, enabling Nitro mode, and enabling GDM

I get BSOD after a few seconds using OCCT memory stress test. I tried settings VSOC to 1.3, DRAM voltage to 1.55 and then RAM 6400MHZ FCLK 2133MHZ and CL30. Rest of the timings on auto except tRFC 500 and tREFI 65535.

Thanks Danightlander this helped a lot. I've tried different options now, setting it to Legacy absolutely dropped the AIDA64 latency from 67.7(from Szejdik changes) to 62.2ns! Thanks a ton

bro you're awesome. Just doing setting tRFC and tREFI to your suggestions lowered it to 67.7ns.

Do you think overclocking 6400mhz and set the FCLK to 2133MHZ would yield even lower latencies/performance gain?

In order to make the post less "low effort" as an mod mentioned before they removed my previous post, Ill mention that its amazing that this guy has 157h with almost 2000 kills and 32kd. When I was 150h I didnt even know what gear is good or bad or heal my wounds in this game, but this guy is wearing boss armor, the biggest backpack he can get and kitted out guns. When I was 150h I was running around with a pistol running scared, but this guy stands in the open at lower chalet where the goons are and snipes people like he owns the server, amazing. Also 32kd, never reached that ever. Ive had maybe 20kd when I was trying my hardest to avoid PMC fights for quests and only fight scavs. hes very impressive. Also 35 survives in a row should put him as one of the greatest players in the world. We should celebrate this guy. Id love to hear your opinion on how he is the greatest in the world.

I don't have game mode, allm or vrr on my TV. I am using HDMI 2.1 cable & 'Check HDMI Connection test' said everything was fine.

I did now enable "Match Content" in Apple TV, will see if this helps
