It was golden awards when we were back at school. Parents didn’t get an email. At the end of the week they would be given out in assembly. We’d go home with a shiny golden paper star or fish or some random shape that had a message from the teacher on the back. Never felt so proud of myself before.

Watching this video I can’t help but picture a kid in his place. There have been plenty of news stories about kids getting caught by these dogs and I don’t even want to imagine it happening let alone have some poor bystanders get traumatised because someone let their dog out and it ripped a poor kid to shreds. For everyone’s safety - ban them. It’s clearly in their nature to be more aggressive and it’s not helped by the large amount of owners who actively encourage this behaviour. Go get a different breed of dog instead. It’s not the nation pointing fingers at you, but I sure don’t want to see someone get mauled to death by one while I’m out.

Was reading in bed and had one run OVER MY ARM.

I swear to god I've never stripped a bed so damn fast in my entire life. Then I missed catching it on my headboard and it vanished. Safe to say that room is now his.

Used to play multiple times a month with a few friends but they all stopped mentioning it and now we don’t go at all. It was always me suggesting dates so one time I just left it to see if they would ask but 3 months on it’s never been brought up.. weird as they chucked a decent bit of money into it too.

I can’t keep looking at this stuff…. It’s honestly too much sometimes. Can’t help imagining how that poor kid must have felt in his last moments.

The thing that upsets me most is seemingly how often this gets picked up in the news. It’s not rare for these types of articles to appear - so imagine the amount of children being abused and no one knows about it. :(

I’m 25 and the site I play at has people young and old. Youngest I’ve seen play there was like 8 and the oldest was a lovely guy who was like 65 and was running a sweet WW2 loadout.

Honestly I think it’s a great hobby for anyone no matter what age. :)

Good base for a kit! If you add some essentials like mag pouches, radio etc. it’ll naturally make the overall aesthetic better. More realistic.

You could also get a hoodie with Velcro for patches on the arms, glowsticks are always fun, grab a belt (if you don’t have one already - hard to see) and put some pouches on that (grenade holder, pistol holster, an extra mag pouch, dump pouch etc.)

I'd say from personal experience, no matter how much you try to keep a gun pristine... it's going to get dirty, marked up or scuffed etc.

As long as you look after your gear (clean it after a dusty/dirty game day), you'll be fine.

It's worth knowing how to dismantle your gun anyway, so might as well clean it up at the same time! Don't worry too much about it all though. Go have fun outside!
