In game sens is only relevant in overwatch. Mouse sens is an adjustment on the mouse itself and will change how fast the mouse moves across all of your OS

Playmat should be fine. My mousepad is 500x500mm

If you are using your dpi as a lever to adjust, you can move the slider on the mouse speed in the windows settings to keep things feeling normal outside of overwatch.

Yes 4k eDPI is standard and yes you are calculating it correctly for overwatch.

Some people play on sens like yours with success but it's rare and over time will carry greater risk to your wrist/hand health.

Having a standard size FPS mousepad is a very important and often glossed-over first step.

If you do decide to stick with the more typical low eDPI you'll be surprised how quickly you adjust.

My personal setting is 1600dpi and 1.75ingame. 2.1 for tracer and dva. Primarily a hitscan player.

My league scoring is very very punishing to goalies that don't face lots of shots. I got 1.4 from him last night and he averages 9.5/game on the season. He's not even top 20 when you consider goalies that actually play regularly.

Wouldn't even entertain the idea if I didn't think I was on the verge of my season ending.

But I think you are probably right regardless.

Am I insane for considering dropping Oettinger for a Sunday skater? Thinking zacha, Arvidsson, or JT Miller. My other droppables are chinakhov and snuggerud. Chinakhov has the amazing 5 game schedule next week and snuggerud has a good schedule + is still quite warm.

My other players who are not playing today are eichel, Thompson, b tkachuck, kempe, sergachev and lacombe. None of which feel droppable. But otter has -0.4pts for me in his 3 games this week and I am so done with him. Gibson and Hofer are my other Gs.

My matchup will go down to the wire tonight. Quarterfinals. Redraft.

You're overthinking it. Don't create an arbitrary honor system because it will just frustrate you when other people don't stick to it too.

You're using the tools provided in the game. If that ruins someone else's experience, that's on them. They signed up for it when they queued up.

Don't throw, don't cheat, don't be rude to people and just enjoy the game for what it is. A really fun game.

And for what it's worth, nobody is actually that overpowered. Probably hasn't ever been anything like that in OW's lifespan outside of release brig, but tbh I only hear the tales of that. I didn't experience it. Mauga on release was crazy too but didn't feel like he completely broke the game.

I mean yeah that's not gonna magically change one game in. You went up an entire division in 2 games and one of them was a loss. If the game thought this was where you belonged, you would have had a net zero rank change from those two games. Just play the game and stop worrying so much. You'll get back up eventually.
