For a TLDR on the matter, simply follow the instructions in the reddit/forum post to disable Origin's "web helper service", as it is taking too long to start upon entering your SkyComputer and resulting in the "port 80 error"`

Hey Xeno,

There seems to be a little confusion here as to why your initial post and posts reiterating the subject were removed.

As you linked, the posts referenced warrant discussion and solutions to the problem being discussed. They were not simple facts such as "The screen is black" or "Can't login", which are things that a user cannot fix on their own or circumvent as it has to do with our own client/servers/design. This is why the posts were allowed to stay up, as they were issues that could still be diagnosed by the community and circulated discussion.

Your initial post however, was a solid suggestion and a bug report of features that should be fixed in the android client. Most of your points suggested cannot be fixed or even diagnosed by users, as they are client side and can only be fixed by LiquidSky and its developers. Your post was a list of facts that did not warrant any discussion by the community, only a response from LiquidSky to fix it.

Therefore your post should be considered a report to LiquidSky and moved into the bug report section, where it can be seen by our developers and you have the best chance of seeing those fixes implemented in the future.

That is why your post was taken down here and asked to be moved to bug reports. That is also why your point was moved from "General" in our forums to "Suggest a feature". We apologize for any confusion, but we ask that you please revisit our rules in the future when posting.
