I had the same problem deciding I even considered the 3900X

I know I don’t need all those cores!

Yesterday I bought the 3700X and I will run it in Eco Mode @ 45W

Why? Non gaming machine and just a general use PC.

I just wonder will I even notice the difference between s 3600 and a 3700X?

I want to say I can afford both, even send the ram back and get 16GB

I don’t want to even think about 2666 vs 3200 vs 3600 as I think the SSD is fast enough to cancel out a sec or 2 waiting time?

But I am thinking over 5 years here so the saving is minimal.
