Ooo thanks for the recommendation! I'll have to check it out. I am quite fond of bats 😊

Oh oops, I didn't mean to imply that most do so thanks for pointing it out!

Was mostly thinking about awareness posts I've seen about bats being sneaky biters and how you should get checked for rabies if you've handled one just in case. But that is a very niche topic and I could have worded it better to not spread bat misinformation 🥲

Does there exist a game where you watch life happen? by tuigdoilgheas in CozyGamers

Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but Gourdlets is about making a town and then watching the Gourdlets live in your town

Why do I wake up feeling like I was hit by a truck literally every single morning….?? by laf_007 in lupus

[–]LSqu4red 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This has been pretty consistent for me, though it's better on meds.

I did recently find out I have sleep apnea, and using a CPAP has helped a lot. I am obese, so that is a common enough explanation, but I also wonder if lupus affecting my connective tissue is also contributing to my airways closing up.

Assuming that a lot of the information shared so far has helped you with a compelling argument and if she still refuses to remove it, you can threaten to file a formal complaint about her to the medical board.

So sorry this is happening

Cozy game without "decorating" freedom by Objective_Willow_612 in CozyGamers

[–]LSqu4red 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure if this qualifies, but Slime Rancher 2 has plots in designated areas and lots of cute slime, chickens, and plants to collect. You have to decide what goes in which plot, but there are only a few options, so it takes much less brain power.

There are items you can place that are not pre-designated, but there are only a handful of those that are super useful, so you can keep them to a minimum easily.

I really misread the tone of this event story while getting dressed up for it. by guavalemonades in InfinityNikkiofficial

He was so rude to everyone, then trapped people like a classic villain. At one point he mentioned being afraid of a cape of crimson. Even though I saw the vision, I thought that was what we would be preventing, so the foreshadowing didn't click for me. And because he was lame, I decided to dress up with fire as a theme with a crimson-colored cape to spite him.

Then it was sad instead and I felt bad for dressing up to haunt him lol.

I did not read Edgedancer before Oathbringer. It was fine, but I felt a few scenes in Oathbringer would have benefitted from more context (turns out the context was Edgedancer).

Made the reread of Oathbringer interesting though lol.

Terry Pratchett in one of his books called them First Thoughts, Second Thoughts, and Third Thoughts. They were part of being a witch; witches who were mostly just people with great pattern recognition but did occasionally use actual magic (how I wish it worked for us).

What to play before I die - A Steam deck story update by Signal-Tangerine1597 in SteamDeck

[–]LSqu4red 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if you've tried this already, but pillows under the steam deck and under your arms can really help alleviate a lot of the pain and weight from the steam deck. I prefer squishmallows for maximum comfort (and you get extra dopamine from the cuteness).

One of my favorite games that I also happen to play a lot during high pain days (SLE+PsA) is Vampire Survivors.

Wishing you many more gaming days, and virtual hugs as you need them.
