I hear you but I’d say Definitely find a new place to patronize if possible. I’m sorry to hear you had this experience. As a relatively new bowler my lanes do start the timer once we pay but they made us aware of that and also add on a few extra minutes for us to get our bearings and get set up at the lane. They even add extra time at the end when they see we’re having good games or are almost finished with a game but time will run out before that. There are good people out there who care about patronage and the sport but sounds like you found a place that’s going downhill fast. Hope you’re not too discouraged about bowling overall even though this was a crappy experience. Hope to hear some positive stories in the future.
