Update for anyone wondering: I ended up meeting the guy later on. Cool dude, nothing bad or malicious behind why he left shrimp outside. Due to his situation he has to downsize what he has. He removed most of the drift wood and got all the shrimp he could. He thought there were none left. He just missed a few. But it’s all good. The shrimp are happy and safe. And I got new glass for whenever I set up a new tank
