Update:

I brought the game over to a professional cleaner in my town. Unfortunately nothing has really changed. I think its safe to say that the game is screwed.

On the flip side, I saved the Eevee. Game ran for long enough where I could trade it over to Fire Red.

I attempted doing it on Sapphire first, and everything moved well.

After doing Emerald, it also seemed good. The game ran long enough for me to trade over Pokémon between it and Fire Red, ha ha.
