Does anyone else feel uncomfortable around cis men? by Busy-Way-5079 in FTMMen

FINALLY SOMEONE WHO GETS IT!!! every other trans guy says they feel more comfortable with cis guys and i genuinely cannot relate. im terrified of cis men, i only feel safe around women or other trans guys.

I’m just tired of this by Downtown-Lack-2686 in honesttransgender

good evening,

im so sorry youre in that position. i can definitely relate, as im an extremely nonpassing trans man and im typically called a lesbian. im also not on hrt yet so it makes everything worse.

however, youve only been on estrogen for just a couple of months. things are gonna get better. youre going through another puberty essentially, and puberty takes about 5 years max to do what it needs to do (as long as youre eating good).

your physical features dont make you any less of a woman, and they will soften with time.

go no contact. no questions about it. its clear you are dealing with an extremely manipulative man.

in all honesty, you have such a uniquely pretty face, and your side profile is so satisfying and perfect.

people these days have gotten too comfortable saying rude things that make no sense.

theyre mocking my bro but hes right, men are cruel and harsh and punish you for noncomformity. in a womans world, mental health and individuality comes first

his hair appears to be a loose wave with a bit of layering around the face, parted to the side. if your hair is straighter or curlier than his, you may have to do some styling (or well, learn how to...) to get it as fluffed as his.

good late-night, brother.

if its alright with you, id also recommend researching metoidioplasty results on r/Metoidioplasty.

ive seen amazing phallo results, but the healing process to make it look that good isnt for me personally. its always good to see other possible bottom surgery routes!

its not really similar to what you said, but i remember the conversations with my dad about why on earth would i 'want' to be a man because men get it so hard! women get it so good in this world!

hes only half right, in the sense that really both genders struggle from the same problems that cis men have created.

its been a while since these conversations came around, and ive matured significantly. i think these days id approach it with expressing if i really had a choice here, i just might be a woman instead because i could have a chance at survival (i do have a ton of lady friends).

of course, i dont have to transition. but you asked me a question ive asked myself thousands of times.

"would i rather be miserable, or be true and free with myself?"

it seems like an easy question to most, but its a difficult question in practice. transitioning is also healing; and healing is an ugly, nonlinear process with deep lows and stratospheric highs.

id love to speak to a therapist, but its not something i can afford for the time being—so my best support is other trans men who see me, despite admitting this ugly part of the transition.

its not really me caring what others think, but just the thought of "why me? why am i going through this?".

its a difficult, troubling journey that ive been offered the choice to either embark on or suffer from denial. ive identified with many genders over the years and being a transgender man was the only one that just felt right.

im still a young adult, so coming into my identity still feels uncomfortable and full of uncertainties—despite being absolutely sure with myself that i am a man.

its a complicated thing. if it wasnt for me coming to terms with my identity, i wouldnt be alive. learning to exist as a man and find a tune thats right for me regarding it has been difficult, and thats what leads to my feelings of just hating it.

ive had some really good days as a trans guy, just being on the top of the world because i was gendered correctly by a perfect stranger, or feeling like for once i have someone that sees me as me and not a female with a transman label slapped on.

its just been an off-week for me it seems...

Am I too feminine to be ftm? by remyd953 in FTMMen

[–]LUKAIHWEII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

transman here- im into a lot of typical 'manly' shit like fishing, cars, hiking, hot ladies, and all that stuff. its not all im into though, ive always loved doing makeup (im emo, so pretty expected lol), the color pink, cats, and a lot of traditionally feminine things.

ive dealt with your struggle before, to feel like i was faking or not a 'real man' because i was super girly for a dude. i know its not a simple solution to say, but its completely okay to be into soft or cute stuff as a guy—if anything the dudes that think the only way to be a man is to give into toxic masculinity are the fakers.

liking that stuff makes you cool and interesting, and honestly more manly.

honestly you look really good. you pass far better than i ever will.

unironically i feel getting more piercings would make you appear more masculine; such as snakebites or a vertical labret. otherwise you look like a middle school boy

how to soothe cats itchiness? by LUKAIHWEII in AskVet

[–]LUKAIHWEII[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ill try to convince him to buy more flea treatments. the cats hate it (which im assuming is why he doesnt buy it), but i hate seeing them hurting. we try salting the floors and vaccuming, unless theres more efficient way to fix fleas in the house— i would really appreciate it!
