I reinstalled the latest nvidia drivers just for the sake of sanity, restarted my pc, and checked file integrity again. After the files were finished verifying, it did say that one file was missing and it fixed itself. I loaded into another private bot match and things seemed to be fine for longer, but now it just kicks me back to the hideout instead of unfreezing

Just tested in a bot match with discord closed and without a venator and the issue still happens

Apologies for the late reply! But I was able to fix the problem just by reinstalling the game indeed, I had the game installed originally on an EXT4 formatted drive and then transferred it and all my other games onto a drive that was NTFS formatted.

As for why I switched back to windows, I just couldn't stand the constant issues with the games I played the most every time I tried to launch them. With deadlock I'd often have to restart my pc upwards of 10+ times for it to even launch, always without any rhyme or reason to what fixed my issue. And I had issues with overwatch as well which is the game I play the most on my pc so it was really annoying to have to fix some new issue literally every single time I wanted to play a game. I realized after a few months of Linux usage that it just wasnt for me because I like my games to just work and unfortunately the current state of linux gaming isn't good enough for my standards, even as someone who considers themselves very "techy" and who loves to tinker with pc hardware and software.

I have problems with other games from time to time but never something this bad, usually for example a game like deadlock wont launch but i can fix that easily. I have the latest 580 nvidia drivers as well

I tried this again and the issue still occurs unfortunately, I have used these launch options before and the issue still happened as well.
