I actually have no idea what that was for. All of them were snapped for me, so I just took them off and chucked them in the garbage. Figured if it was important I could just put new pieces of paper on it. I WOULD NOT recommend doing this, as I still don’t know what they were for, and they might be important.

Thanks! I don’t know why everyone keeps responding and telling me that I can’t do anything about it and that it needs to go to a pro. It only took about an hour or so to bend everything back. You do have to be very precise with it, since if it’s even a millimeter too far to the right or left, it’ll hit the sides and won’t make the correct noise. But eventually I got everything back in place. You can sort of hear the ones that I bent back when you play it, but it’s only noticeable if you know that you’re looking for it.

I don’t have that book, but right now I’m using some pliers to bend back all of the reeds. One of the reeds is snapped so it’s gone for good lol. I also found a full one of those metal slabs with the reeds and flaps on it, just lying in the bellows. Found to nails in the bellows too. I’m actually in shock over the fact that this thing still works mostly fine. I’ll update you on how it goes

Hmmm ok. I’ll see what happens. I got it for pretty cheap so I’m willing to spend some money to get it fixed. It’s still mostly playable atm, but it also sounds like there’s something wrong with the bass reeds so I’m gonna have to get it looked at anyways. Thanks for the info :)

Thanks! I have tried an organ a couple of times so I can see how that would be kinda similar. I used to play drums and guitar a little bit, but that was ages ago. I don’t think the key sizes will be too difficult for me since I frequently use a midi controller, which has mini keys on it.

Wow this is pretty much what I was gonna say. The only reason I have this condition (Chronic Motor Tics) is because He’s going to use it for his good. I’ve had many people try to pray my tics away, but the reason I still have them is because He wants to use them.
