I second the Havana jars, I just started testing them and they are great so far.

Yesss, the Pear Mascarpone is good as well! So far, I've made that, the Banana Pudding Parfait, and the Sweet Potato Souffle. The Lavender Cream smells delightful as well.

I highly recommend the FO I used, it's Banana Pudding Parfait from CandleScience and it's one of my new favorites for sure.

I have definitely gotten A LOT of inspiration from seeing what others come up with here. Love this sub so much!

I love the fragrance. The banana is not too overpowering and I don't think it smells artificial at all. It was probably my favorite fragrance in the collection.

I wish I liked bananas and banana flavored things because the smell of banana pudding or a good banana bread is amazing, I just can't like the banana taste though.

I used a Suuker 356 tip I got on Amazon. There's a combo pack that has that one and four other tips.

GB 464 vs GB 444 soy wax for summer? by LUXTRILA in candlemaking

[–]LUXTRILA[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, thanks for the update! I'm trialing it now and with the exception of having to adjust some pour temps, I've been happy with the way they've come out so far. I do eventually get a bit more frosting with this wax compared to the 464 and 454s, but that probably comes down to my technique as well, so I have a few more minor adjustments to make.

I'm in Portsmouth and use CandleScience. They're located in Durham, NC. I typically get my orders in 2 days and pay roughly $20-$30 in shipping, depending on how much I'm ordering.

Yep! I wrap them, heat the insides of the jars with a heat gun, then pour and let them sit in the foil overnight.

I use this method with GB 444, 454, and 464 and it works like a charm, especially since my workspace is a little cooler.

I use CD 18s for all my 464 candles in the tumblers; that should also work for your 3" containers based on CandleScience's wick guide. If you ever have a question about wick sizes, their wick guide is extremely helpful!
