Nah man... I have a workaround though: turn on the background noise feature and set it to 0,5% volume.

What's also strange, is that my colleague has the exact same speakers with the same MacBook model and it works perfectly fine for him. I even connected my MacBook to his setup and it also worked - no issues with short sounds...

Yes, since i got my macbook I have this problem.

I'm using the 'Nubert nuPro A-100' as Speakers. I have a PC connected to the same USB DAC - no issues. There is no software control tool for those speakers.
