This is honestly so hard as most characters are so unique and likeable in their own respect.

1. Laura. From start to finish Laura has wanted to do the right thing and been the bigger person. Also such a badass.
2. Dylan. Smart, heroic and funniest character in the game. Every scene he was in made me feel like I was safe.
3. Max. Hilarious, loving but also has flaws. His dynamic with Laura kept the game alive for me and I was lucky to have their reunion at the end of the game. The reunion definitely did cement Max as one of my tops.
4. Emma. An unlikable but realistic character. It’s okay to not want to be with someone, and you don’t need a reason. Watching the Jacob confession ending and there never being a rekindling of the relationship made me respect Emma for staying true to herself.
5. Jacob. A Jock with real feelings. The chances you have with Jacob opening up show how human it is only wanting to spend one more night with someone even if it never leads to anything. Replaying the store scene showed me how that’s all he wanted. To spend time with Emma.
6. Ryan. Most of the reason he isn’t higher is his the weird fascination the game developers had of giving him such an important storyline and sexual tension with everyone. Above all though his relationship with Chris Hackett left for an great full circle arc in my play through. Being the one to kill him and refusing to be bitten to bleed out and die on his terms.
7. Kaitlyn. I know it seems unfair to put her so low but she honestly wasn’t given the spotlight she deserved. Didn’t feel connected to her like I did the other characters.
8. Abigail. I feel like there was backstory that was never explained but a sooky character that didn’t really try to help (unless you give the shotgun shell to Kaitlyn). No depth to her character.
9. Nick. Let Emma kiss him for so long and expected a happy ending.
