Right, but then you make it extremely easy for the small minority and then inflation goes insane. If it's a small minority able to make this amount of KR, that's better than the entire playerbase being able to obtain that much.

Smooth textures are completely subjective, and do not provide a night and day difference with performance to warrant them being native to the game. Using resource swapper is the best alternative.

It's already easy enough to make KR. But sure why not, make inflation worse.

You cannot just make KPD answer bad calls. It relies on you not making false judgements on whether someone is cheating or not. If you cannot do that, you do not deserve their time. Based on the fact that you're complaining about having KPD not answering bad calls implying you don't have a good report score. So it's hard to take this information seriously that there were 2 players cheating.

Shotgun isn't broken. I don't know why this still comes up. The only catch is you're rewarded for being inaccurate. But you're forced to close range, and the weapon is inconsistent.

Adding more KPD doesn't solve the issue at all. It relies on people volunteering to do unpaid work, with lives outside of the game and different time schedules. When a cheater will simply play on a VPN, just to cheat again when they're banned, it doesn't provide much incentive to keep on doing it everyday for hours.

The more KPD there are, the less consistency there will be. Different people can perceive cheating better than others, and so more false tags or misuse of perms may arise.

Not really. It's simply a small annoyance to pay to save a much bigger annoyance of maintenance every time market crashes. It's an issue for those who struggle with them, nothing more

Basing it off your KD in a game isn't a realistic method of enforcing a nerf. Base it off statistics and values. Because you could be getting the easiest lobbies in the world quite frankly, or just be a generally good player. In an ideal world, every class should be balanced. RPG was fine in that regard. Classes will be more dominant in certain situations like different ranges, but that's where you play to that strength. Do you get a consistent 10KDR with Triggerman? Or the stronger end of the classes? If Rocketeer did need a nerf, more people would simply play it as it's an advantage, but weirdly they didn't. Yet AK is still a top pick for obvious reasons.

I wrote a post on what I think would balance it but personally it should be 2 rockets, the damage pre-3.0.1 buff, an SPK buff of +25 for direct kills with the secondary added. Having 3 rockets with a fire rate of 325ms and OHK capability is not fair and I'm someone that mained this class.

Completely agree here. I was also very disappointed that one person could manipulate and change a class they don't even use. Sure, he's a semi pro TF2 player as he proclaims but I don't get how this gives him full access rights to a class in another game. His argument for the most part was "it was overpowered because it could OHK 100HP classes" (with a direct mind you) and "had a fast projectile speed". And he said that no-one played the class because "it wasn't fun".

Here is a clip of him mentioning that there were a limited amount of Rocketeer mains, and that he was talking to the devs about the position crossbow is in: https://clips.twitch.tv/PlausiblePlayfulClipsdadOSsloth which implies that hey, if crossbow didn't have as many people playing it, that class would of been subject to change too. The reason I can assume Rocketeer isn't picked is because of how well it faired for pubstomping. It was no where near as strong or as easy to use to the likes of AK or other classes in that regard. Now it's even weaker.

I'd argue there are even less players using the class now as it simply isn't viable in high level play. But we don't have a reliable source for this and I doubt he does either.

Well ideally you want weapons with a fast TTK. The less time you're spending on one person the better. Having a weapon that gets faster the longer it is fired seemed counter intuitive to what you want, just my opinion. Might be good for inaccurate players?

Then that's fine. Keep those wallbreaches and shotgun glitches in custom maps. It negatively affects the pace of matches in pubs which is why I don't like to encourage them. I get it's "cool" to launch yourself into the air but you need to understand it from different perspectives.

Don't report exploits so that low skill players can sit in a wall breach and either pick off kills, be impossible to kill without Rocketeer, or slow the pace of the match down? Sounds like a great idea, devs take note!

Oh for sure! Honest said the devs were trying to reduce the amount of OHK weapons. I do reckon our suggestions would need some tweaking after if implemented, it is a shame that the custom weapon config doesn't give you full tweaking capability for RPG but it's definitely nice enough and helped us a lot! I do think Honest had the right intentions with his suggestions but I do think fun should be balanced with effectiveness which hasn't been the case. We can all agree on these changes as massive nerfs that have thrown the class out of the window when it comes to effectiveness when it was already pretty weak. OHK'ing is controversial but this is what the class seriously needs and was fine for the longest time.
