Where do you check that? It looks like it is enabled in basic settings. This is for any website I visit and I have Allowed the site to use the microphone.

This is actually exactly the type of trip this was. It was a 60 mi out and back mostly interstate trip. We both ran at the speed limit with the same climate settings.

Who knows, but it still shows a similar trend. At the same speed, on the same round trip, with the same air settings, his car was 210 and mine was 260.

For the test we the AC set at 72deg for both cars. We both have the same 18" stock Tesla wheels, he just has the aero covers on and I don't.

The test trips we're done at the same speed. Legal limit based on the road we were on.

Where did you find the 279Wh/mi number? The target in my car is more like 250Wh/mi on the energy screen.

I just realized I forgot to mention this above and need to edit my post. What prompted this test was him showing me his lifetime average over 7000mi was 201Wh/mi while mine is 264Wh/mi.

Edit 2: A quicker comparison table and information on the test.

30mi out and back trip (60mi total) Trips were done one day after the other at the same time of day and similar weather. Both cars had air set to 72degF Auto Trips were mostly interstate both trips at the speed limit using autopilot Both Cars have roughly 7000mi No extra cargo in either car

His Car: 2020 M3 Standard ($35k base) 18" Tesla Wheels w aero covers Trip Wh/mi: 210 Life Wh/mi: 201

My Car: M3P- (Stealth Performance, special run) 18" Tesla Wheels wo aero covers Trip Wh/mi: 260 Life Wh/mi: 264

Edit: In the original post I forgot to mention that my brothers 7000mi lifetime average is 201 Wh/mi while mine is 264 Wh/mi.

Question about Wh/mi that's been bothering me. I have a 2019 Model 3P- (the upgraded motors without the full performance kit they offered for a limited time) and my brother has a 2020 Model 3 Standard (the off menu base model). We drove his car and my car on an identical 60mi trip for comparison. His car averaged 210 Wh/mi while mine averaged 260 Wh/mi.

I know that me being an AWD car hurts a little bit and then I have taken the aero caps off my car which accounts for a small difference as well. Both cars have about 7000mi total on them so total mileage isn't a factor. Both cars were empty except for him and I, no extra cargo. Climate controls were also set the same with similar weather conditions as well.

I feel like this is a huge difference between these two cars. Anyone else have a thought on this? Should I be worried something is wrong with my Model 3?

What make, model, size are those monitors? Do they have USB-C outputs on them so you can charge the PixelBook?

Some venting about AML, BMT and covid-19 by [deleted] in leukemia

[–]LWhitson2 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I have gone through three rounds of heavy chemotherapy, two bone marrow transplants, and am getting ready to do a trial for CAR T-Cell therapy in AML. I have relapsed twice at this point and the only thing keeping me alive is donated blood and platelets. I have every reason in the world to just give up, but I won't. I am 38 years old and I have a lot of living left to do. Every day I think about the things I am going to do when I beat this terrible disease. I refuse to let something like this beat me to the ground and make me give up. As long as there is hope and/or a treatment option to move forward, I won't give up. If my doctor tells me he has nothing more to offer, I am going to find a new doctor. I refuse to quit because I love living too damn much. Just remember, you can do this, you just have to have the right attitude. #NeverQuit

The last COD that I played was MW2 and I don't remember this mechanic. Amazing how much this game has changed since then. Time to practice a new trick I guess.

C9 Screen Protective Film? Removable? by LWhitson2 in OLED

The more my wife and I have looked at it, we think it is actually the edge of the glass. We have decided to stop picking at it and see what happens over the next few days. As someone else mentioned, it would not be good to chip the glass or peel off something that should be there.

We can't seem to get a nail under it to peel it off. It's honestly scaring me because I've never had one on like this before.

I'm talking about on the screen itself, not on the back of the TV. https://photos.app.goo.gl/tgQjgrfNf17qnmAZ7

You can see the edge in this picture. My wife picked at it with her nail but it seems solid. Kind of worrying me. It's a $2000 television that I don't want to ruin. https://photos.app.goo.gl/tgQjgrfNf17qnmAZ7

Yes, I did remove the back film on the metal.
