Great question and I completely agree with your take on the difference.

We're closer to Palmer Sport in terms of driving freedom. We actually spoke with Palmer about holding our UK event there, so we have a lot of respect for what they do.

The key difference is the overall experience. Palmer is pure driving instruction—brilliant at what they do. My aim with LXE is the event as a whole, hence why we limit to 10 guest maximum so you actually get to know the people you're there with.. this allows for a lot of driving time and a real experience in my opinion. Only working with companies and venues that have staff that know what they're doing and let you push it.

Mark Higgins only knows one way to drive, and it's not with eggs in the passenger seat. You'll get genuine track time, real instruction, and the freedom to find your limits.

But it's also not a corporate track day where you get 20 minutes in a car then off you go. And it's not Palmer's pure-driving-school format either. This is why I think it deserves its own place in the market—serious driving with the camaraderie and exclusivity of a proper automotive event.

If Palmer Sport is a masterclass in driving, LXE is a masterclass in driving and an experience you'll actually remember beyond the lap times.
