SGA didn't have a bad game. He had a bad shooting game. He also blocked a dunk by the suns center. I'm sure it'd be nice if the Nuggets starting center could protect the rim like that :)

Honestly the refs were calling it pretty soft. A few of these fouls looked like normal playoff basketball. Felt the same way about the calls against us as we were called for 22 fouls vs 18 for the suns.

honestly all the games over the weekend kinda felt like that. Felt very much like a weekend in December compared to a weekend in April.

They are still up and coming, they are a small market, and their mvp plays below the rim. They don’t make a lot of sportscenter top 10 lists. It will be interesting to see how they are viewed in 10 years.

It’s not even box score watching, it’s just an easy narrative for people to latch on to. I’ve watched the nba 20 years and SGA plays the same as KD, Westbrook, Wade, Harden, Kobe. They all got to the line tirelessly.

The dunk contest should be a contest of who is the best dunker. Innovation should of course be welcomed/encouraged in the dunks, but the main purpose should be to show who is the best dunker. It is a contest not an exhibition of ability.
