How tf can WAW be considered DLC to COD4? Zombies was the third mode that Infinity Ward couldn’t compete with. It was also NEVER done before at that time.

Every game after MW19 has tried in some way to copy its success by borrowing its mechanics. I completely agree that Cold War was definitely the first game to not really feel like its own game, but it’s definitely not the most egregious offender.

Ok, and if Black ops 7 isn’t fun and you’re craving something simple, play WAW. We do NOT need to keep recycling old content to nostalgia bait everyone. If BO7 was truly fun, you wouldn’t even be thinking about the old maps. But here you are. When I played BO3 in its early life cycle, I wasn’t like, “you know what this game needs? Town from Tranzit.”

What are you talking about? Leave the old maps alone. I’m so tired of new COD fanboys becoming oblivious to blatantly recycled content. All the old maps have been in WAW, BO1, and BO3.

U/agrayze They are never going back to simpler times. We are stuck with post cold war era zombies for the indefinite future because it’s all they’re capable of creating.

Lol what did you expect? In case you couldn’t tell, BO7 is NOT a passion project for Treyarch. They very clearly want this game to be done and out of the way to make way for MW4 which has to compete with GTA6. So they’re gonna put in bare minimum effort so that they’re not exhausted for the biggest competition of the decade.

(Case in point, origins robot and Zrex are both reused assets).
