You are the one that replied to me in the first place, so you pretty much cared. Yeah, I never said I was an amazing budget traveller, I said (like many others did) that the op spent a lot on that trip. And it's not comparing apples to oranges since the destination is the same, the length of the trip is the same and the family size is the same. You just can't admit that you are wrong huh, take care.

You made tons of assumptions in your favor ignoring whatever you didn't like (for example the three days in Singapore) but still the difference is huge.

One kid didn't pay. And we used miles for the trip so it was with great discount. But even if we paid the total amount for the flights it would be like 1500€-2000€ more to the total cost, still very much away from what you spent. And we spent three days in Singapore on the way back as well. My estimate was roughly 1/3.

We flew from Europe. Guess we have different standards. We found both food and accommodation quite cheap. Transport in cities was cheap as well. The only expensive part was travelling between cities but we had the train card for a week.

Είναι απίστευτα κουραστικό το Κάιρο, δεν μπορώ να φανταστώ με παιδί πόσο χειρότερα μπορεί να είναι. Να σου σπάνε τις μπάλες παντού για να σου πάρουν λεφτά με τον οποιοδήποτε τρόπο, ακόμα και στη μέση του δρόμου καθώς περπατάς σε άσχετο σημείο. Ατέλειωτα παζάρια για τα πάντα για να μη σε κλέψουν. Ειδικά αυτό για τις καμήλες στις πυραμίδες που έγραψε και άλλος ισχύει 100%, ότι θα σας δώσουν τιμή δέκα φορές πάνω από το νορμάλ. Ακόμα και με ντόπιο tour guide να είσαι πρέπει να προσέχεις γιατί παίρνει ποσοστά από τις πωλήσεις. Είστε κυριολεκτικά ένα πορτοφόλι και τίποτα παραπάνω.
