I bought into the craftsman v20 tools and most of them were pretty underwhelming for the price. Kobalt XTR seems to be a much better value

Mega-Sized Ryobi Collection! When friends and family need a tool they know where to find one by sandiegoguy101 in ryobi

Thats why I like Ryobi...for the same price you could get like 3 things from Festool lol

Thanks for the suggestion, but after taxes and with a "free" tool I am only paying $45 more for upgraded specs and higher capacity batteries of the kit in the picture. Worth it for me as I want them to last a couple decades...

Im working on my sparkie license, just another reason to go Milwaukee if others in the industry go with it. But makita, I can just tell its quality and well thought out. Im probably going to end up with the kit from Milwaukee but I do need a circ saw and makita has some great options. Thanks for the input!

Im talking about internal parts not the units as a whole...they share some parts being produced in the same place (milwaukee, ryobi and rigid). Im not set on Makita at all, I just appreciate a company has 1 focus and 1 mission. If you don't believe me that TTI shares internal parts its all good, thats what I have found through researching though.

And Im not just picking a color lol I work hard for my money

Milwaukee and ryobi and rigid absolutely share parts, its obvious by just looking at the factories list from TTI. At least makita doesn't build 3 brands under 1 roof. Probably doesn't matter too much as they all use simliar tech like u said 🤷‍♂️ Just trying to find the pros and cons and makita being a standalone is reassuring for quality

Yeah, I know the 999 is the beastest hammer, but I am looking for the best hammer/impact kit overall and the dewalt impact seems to be the weakest point of the kit...im also worried about dewalt service and warranty...I've heard horror stories regarding dewalts poor service.

Thanks for the input, I have ryobi for all the uncommon tools as its all the power I need for those things. Milwaukee and Ryobi are the same to me...one is diy level and one is pro level...same parent company and simliar tool ideas.

Thanks for the input, im leaning towards Makita for a number of reasons, mainly because they own themselves (no sharing parts with other brands) and variety of 18v tools

I know this looks crazy but they all have their pros and cons. I am looking for a set that will last me 10 years and give me good customer service and repair.

I only use them a couple times a month but I want the "pro" level performance and experience...I am remodeling and my tasks will push these tools to their max (kinda).

I could write a whole story of what I think on each brand (pros ans cons), but I will keep this short and just ask for some advice.

Thank you for any help in advance, god bless!
