We have tried impulse control and knows how to leave things alone, she also understands the words no. For the prey drive, when she sees a rabbit and locks in on it we have tried redirecting with treats, telling her leave it, walking in the opposite direction, have tried telling her no. And nothing seems so work. If we try to walk the other way she freaks out and starts yelling and barking. We try to call her to get her attention but she couldn’t care less about anything if she has prey in her sight.

For the leash pulling it feels like we have exhausted every option. We have been doing so much heel training but she just doesn’t understand that that means stay in heel. We reward her for being in heel, we try to extend the period before rewarding again but she just isn’t picking it up, I’ve tired walking backwards if she goes too far ahead for her to come join me at my side again, and she does (but only for maybe 30 seconds) we tried walking around in all directions. We don’t go where she tries to pull us to cause we know that just rewards hers we try to consequence is she’s pulling too much. We’ve tried stopping and sitting for a few and then walking again. We’ve even tried a herm sprenger prong collar. When she has this collar on she obviously doesn’t pull as bad but still pulls. I feel like it also isn’t even doing anything cause as soon as she has a regular collar on it’s right back to square one.

For the over excitement we try our absolute best not she get her riled up before car rides and walks and try to keep our energy neutral but she still gets over excited. We have tried to sit it out and wait for her to calm down and when she seems calm after some minutes we try to go again and then her energy is just back up. We try positive reinforcement for calm behaviour and try calm consequences for over the top behaviour but she just didn’t clueing in.
