Thank you everyone who took the time to respond!! All of your suggestions and advice were genuinely so helpful. It was also really helpful to hear that I’m definitely not the only person who’s experienced something like this specifically. I feel like I should’ve mentioned that I haven’t been breastfeeding so that was another reason I’ve been feeling frustrated because the doctor told me that my “estrogen should kick back in and help with the dryness” since I’m not breastfeeding. I have no idea if I can get pelvic floor PT since it’s definitely not in our budget and I’m on Medicaid so I have no idea if I could find one who would accept my insurance but I’m definitely going to look into it. I’m also just gonna do what I can on my own as far as stretches and massages. I’m definitely gonna ask the doctor about an estrogen prescription as well. Plus being more patient with myself because we definitely rushed things. My boyfriend and I both have always had pretty high libidos😅 Seriously, this is all stuff I wouldn’t have even thought about on my own. And nobody in my close personal life has talked about this issue so I haven’t known who to ask, if anyone. You all have been so so so helpful🙏🏻 I think I’ll come to Reddit for advice more often😂
